If we were a movie, you'd be the right guy, and I'd be the best friend, that you'd fall  in love with in the end. We'd be laughing, watching the sunset; fade to black, show the names, play the happy song...

Curses.

Well, as you can tell, I'm back from Kentucky, and it was an interesting week. I grew closer to a bunch of the Sr. High kiddos, and I grew so much closer to Carla (Jr. High). Sunday we went to Bethel Baptist Church, then we got lost on our way to get pizza. After Pizza, we went to the cave at the Natural Bridge. We "didn't have enough time to go to the bridge." We stopped at a little gift shop on our way back to camp called "Ye Old Country Peddler", and the cutest guy was the cashier.

Monday was the first, and longest day. It was so frustrating, and everyone was becoming the PISSYMAN! That night, the Sr. High went out to the dock ont he lake, and sang a bunch of praise songs. When we got back into our cabin, Kelsey says, "Guys, I think I saw something." We just shrugged it off, but when I bent down to get something, I saw something brown and fuzzy run across the floor. "Oh...my...gosh...AHH!!" Then our whole cabin errupted in shrieks, and Kelsey couldn't get the door open! When she finally did, we all jumped out of the cabin, and Jason is downt he hill asking what's wrong. Then we see Peter, Kevin, and Dan bolting down the hil to help us. Kendra stuffed a whole notebook of paper into the hole, and then covered it with masking tape. Hectic night.

Tuesday was a lot better, and so much more organized. Jason got stung on the ear, and it was so swollen that everyone started to call him Dumbo. Poor guy. Tuesday night it downpoured rain, and I was dancing around in the rain. It was so much fun. Haha. Wednesday was the Fourth of July, and the day that a group went to the nursing home, because we couldn't paint due to wetness. I didn't go to the nursing home though, because Mr. Gowman needed me to stay and help hold Jason and/or Kevin's ladder. Kevin, Jason, and Mr. Gowman wound up staying after everyone had left. And Kevin wound up getting stung by one of our hundreds of red hornets...right by his right eye! It was really red, and quite swollen. :(

Thursday morning, Kevin's eye was swollen shut, so they took him to the clinic. Turns out that he had an allergic reaction to the sting, and he was perscribed Clariton for ten days. My poor Kevin. His eye swelling went down tremendously! Thursday night we had a bonfire for the whole camp after chapel, and Marc had told me we were going to do personal testimonies. We never did them, and I was really upset, and I told him that. Friday was the last work day, and we finished all three worksites. Dinner was at 4:30, but I showered instead, but ate on the way to the Frenchburg Family Fun Night. I worked at the Mobiles/Necklaces table, and some kid named Nick started following me around, and rambling off of how I was the perfect girl and everything. Creepy kid. It took a leader about ten minutes to get the kid away from my table, then the leader had about four to six leaders around me as my bodyguards.  Before he left, the kid said, "Can I have your address?" "Uhh. No. Sorry, but we're not supposed to give out that kind of information on this trip." Weird kid.

Saturday was hard. Ellisha and I got into a minor fight, but we resolved it at a gas station before we hit the highway. Haha. I got addresses for Chloe and Holly, and said my goodbyes. I rode in the SUV with Mr. Gowman and Thomas. It was so much fun actually. Mr. Gowman and I were singing to all the country music the whole way pretty much. I read A Child Called 'It' a good protion of the way home, and read a couple passages out loud for the G-man and Thomas, and they liked them a lot. I got to talk on the walkie talkies a couple times, and I felt so cool. Ahaha. Back at church, everything got unpacked, and I talked to Mrs. Reynolds and "mom" (a.k.a. Mrs. Sanger), and then said my goodbyes, and got Taco Bell for dinner. Yay!

I can honestly say I'm beyond happy to be home, but I do miss the rolling hills; I do have Diet Ale-8.
