As Spring Break draws to a close, I think I'll reflect on this past week.
Monday was softball practice, Tuesday was nothing. [Such an exciting way to start off a week off of school, huh?]
Wednesday I worked up at 5 Star Lanes from two until five in the afternoon. Nothing happened after Stephanie left at four, and I was alone for an hour; bored out of my wits is what happened. Thursday I worked again from two till five, but I remembered a book so I could read after Stephanie left at 3:30. After working, I ran in the house to shower, and go over to the marvelous Danielle's house. Went out to dinner at the Harbor House with her family, then went to 'The Gathering' which was like a college youth group. We went with her brother and his girlfriend, and met up with her college cousins there. We missed the lesson, but hung out for Bible study which started at around 11:45 pm, and ran until two in the morning. Gahh! I was exhausted, and trying so hard not to fall asleep during it. Haha. Lots of fun though, and a really good lesson. Danielle's cousin, Kevin, is probably one the the nicest guys I've ever met! He was such an insperation, and we could really relate. He had been suicidal too in middle school, and I told him that after the study was over.
Fridayy! Came home, then went to work again. I worked from five to nine-thirty. Brittany taught me how to make pizzas, and we each got $19.52 in tips alone. Wow. We're just amazing like that. I worked Saturday morning from nine to five for the kids' league, and for six birthday parties. Gosh. Kids' league was easy as always, but the birthday parties. Oh my gosh! All I did for a lot of it was was dishes or make stuff. One guy left me a two dollar and some odd cent tip, but I just put it in the tip thingie. Another guy said I was a pleasant young lady, and Josh turned and twisted that too much. I love Josh though. He's a lot of fun to talk to, and he shares my pain of going to Sterling. Eww. Haha! And he finally gave me that hug he has owed me forever. Yay hugs!
Today; Sunday. Leslie and all of the Senior High people came home today from their retreat. From what I heard, it was disgusting. I saw pictures of the toliet, shower, and the urinal that was in the girl's bathroom! Eww! Gross. VBS is soon starting, and I signed up today. There is a penguin needed and I volunteered to be the dancing penguin! Mr. Chris said I could be it if they can find someone to sew the costume! I was talking to Mrs. Sanger and Kevin before they left [and Kevin gave me a hug], and Mrs. Sanger told Kevin that I get to be the dancing penguin if the costume gets made. She then told him that she signed him up to be the 'waltzing walrus'. He smiled and looked at me, but Mrs. Sanger said, "I'm kidding. I just signed you up to help." Then Chris Sanger came over to talk with us all, and chris and I started a side conversation, and I slipped about my ex being Kevin Conte [a.k.a. the guy that was Elvis in the musical], and he said, "Are you serious?! You have an ex?!" Then I said, "Yeah, I even lost my first kiss to him." Chris' eyes got huge and he looked at me and said, "Twink. I'm gonna torture you with that forever now." *Evil grin* Then Kevina nd I hugged goodbye, and I didn't get to talk to him like I had planned. UGH! I was going to talk to him tonight at youth group, but no! There's no youth group. Man.
Well; that was my Spring Break. So exciting, no?
School starts tomorrow. YES!! Can't wait...
