I am so eompletely beyond happy right now.
I finally got cast in a departmental show.
That's right, ladies and gentlemen, the girl who last year couldn't make it into 109 is in a play at NU.
I would just like to take this opportunity to tell UB to suck it, if I may.
All this time I have considered myself to be no more than a talentless hack. That I needed to find another major because there was no way I could make it as an actress. UB managed somehow to break my spirit, after it took so much for me to stand up and say that I wanted to be a theatre major.
Well guess what, you heartless bastards that call yourself the UB theatre department. I do so fucking have talent. And granted, my part isn't that big, but it's a part. All you did was intimidate and beat me down.
Well I'm back. In the words of Faye Dunaway in "Mommy Dearest": Don't fuck with me fellas, this isn't my first time at the rodeo.
And with that, I am off to bed.
