It's official, my life in London rules.

So what if I have to read Act I of Translations tonight, as well as two other Irish short stories--I could give two shits. Allow me to explain why.

Allow me to begin at the beginning. First of all, yesterday was Lauren's birthday, and the introduction dinner for new Schiller students at this place called Thai Silk. It was free, so holler back for that, and I met this guy, Charles. We talked and flirted during dinner, and we all ended up going to this sports bar. Ladies and Gentleman, it is official, I have had my first hook up. Charles and I made out, and I was invited to go back to his apartment. I graciously declined, despite the fact that he kept putting his hand down my pants and that he is a really good kisser. Squee! Yeah, that made my night.

Oh and I almost forgot, at dinner we had a thing where people could get up and sing or perform a monologue and the winner gets a free trip someplace. And I won. So rock on, I get a free weekend trip to wherever I want to go in Europe. I know. Awesome.

Tonight was the icing on the cake. We went to see The Philadelphia Story at the Old Vic theatre (which is right down the street from us). Not only were our seats front row (I saw the actors spit, it was amazing) and not only were Jennifer Ehle (Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth) and Kevin Spacey the stars, but I MET KEVIN SPACY AND HE SIGNED MY POSTER!!!! I am in theatre geek heaven right now, words cannot even begin to express.

And now if you'll excuse me, I have to go moon over Charles, pretend to read for class tomorrow and geek out. Good day.
