So, this challenge is quite old, but I decided to do it again mostly for my own reference, to compare the evolution of my own opinions through the years. I've got to say, I'm fairly consistent in most of them xD

- 30. Recommend a song for anyone who might not know Eito.
I'll put the first ten questions here because no way I'll have the patience and persistence to post one per day.
1. Your first bias
Nishikido Ryo
Reason being, I saw him at 2007-2008 Johnny’s Countdown concert (or maybe it was 2006-07) and fell for his smile right away. It was a smile exactly like this on the picture, I was like 'omg who is this cutie with this lovely smile so full of teeth!' (lol). Back then, I only knew Arashi so I had no idea who he was and couldn’t read his name on the screen since it was kanji. All I could read was 'NewS' so I figured he belonged to NewS, searched for them, found out his name and that he was also in Kanjani8 (which was like 'wtf how can someone be in two groups?!').
2. The first song you heard
You can watch this video on www.livejournal.com
Zukkoke Otokomichi
I mean, probably. I can’t be sure if it was the very first, I remember searching them on youtube and seeing Yasu's Watashi Kagami from 47 Concert everywhere so that might have been the actual first, but Zukkoke definitely was the one that made an impression. 'WTF did I just watch' or 'OMG these guys are SO WEIRD' and things like that. Also, I clearly remember watching them at 2007’s Music Station Super Live where they sang it with the crazy colored-straps costume from 47, and that perf totally got me hooked.
3. Your favorite cover song
Subaru - Mr. Traveling Man
(from Shounen Club Premium Aug 17, 2008)
There is no link online for the perf that is compatible with posting here so I had to get an audio from youtube, but here's a link:
http://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm15525634My love for this cover is not likely to change. First of all, I love the song in itself, one of my favorites from TOKIO, and this Subaru cover was what introduced me to them, so it has special significance. Not only Subaru's delivery is flawless but Taichi's piano as the only instrumental here creates a different, awesome feeling for the song.
4. Your first impression of the group
Weird and ugly.
Weird is a given, it was like their trademark in 2007, the image they mostly went for. Their ‘kakkoi’, ‘ikemen’ side wasn’t very developed yet (which used to put Ryo as the odd one out because he had a very clean and cool image, unlike the rest of the group). About the ugly… For someone who came from Arashi and (then) NewS like me, visuals wise Eito was very, very different and they used to make jokes about it themselves. I know many people who got into Eito around the same time as me also thought the same thing.
5. One member you'd want as your brother
Maruyama Ryuhei
Unlike his image on TV, Maru is surprisingly gloomy and introspective and quite the deep thinker, which is similar to myself, so I would probably get along with him.
6. One sentence you'd like to say to each member
Yoko: Life gave you a lot of shit but you came out as a winner. Be proud.
Subaru: Thanks for allowing us to see so many sides of you.
Hina: The man who gets things done without letting negativity get to you. You're an inspiration.
Maru: Don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s ok to fail sometimes.
Yasu: Thanks for being the one who always cares and pays attention.
Ryo: I once resented you for your popularity but you kept being good at stuff and throwing on my face how I couldn't hate you and eventually I grew out of it. You're the most well rounded member. Also I love your music taste the most.
Tatsu: You are the silent hardworker and I like that about you. Also, your laugh xD
7. The member you are most like
Yokoyama You
The guy who doesn’t like to show that he’s struggling, that will feel responsible and take care of people who depend on him, who’s willing to go very far from his true personality to get his work done no matter how out of his comfort zone it is. The shy, the gamer, the loner, the child-adult, the guy you might think you know but actually don’t. The guy who can’t sleep with any lights or noises on. The one who holds the fort of his family.
8. Rank them from 1 to 7 (1 being the best) when it comes to singing.
1. Subaru. No surprises here. Comfortable at many ranges and conveys a lot of emotion. It’s easy to tell when he likes the song he is singing. He totally throws himself into the song.
2. Tatsu. I like his voice, simple as that. Even though voice and singing are different things, if the singing issues are not too bad the voice in itself stands out to me, and he does well enough in singing within his comfort zone.
3. Yasu. I have a deep respect for people who can harmonize well and Yasu is the guy for that, and has a flexible voice for different kinds of songs.
4. Maru. His voice is a little too nasal for my personal taste, but he gets points for being good at harmonizing, like Yasu
5. Ryo. My issue with him is that he goes out of his comfort zone too often, specially when trying to belt notes that are clearly too high for him, so his voice strains a lot.
6. Hina. Someone brilliantly said once (I don’t remember where), he always sounds like he’s yelling at the mic. Bad volume control and can’t get his voice to sound soothing, but I do like his voice in itself.
7. Yoko. Sorry Yoko, but singing is not your thing. Still struggles a lot to stay on key. However, is probably the one who improved the most through the years considering his initial (non-existent) skill.
9. Rank them from 1 to 7 (1 being the best) when it comes to dancing
(taking into consideration that Eito is definetely not a group who is good at dancing...)
1. Yasu. I don’t know if he’s a better dancer or if he just enjoys dancing more than the others, which makes it look like he’s better at it. He’s always the most energetic and that alone makes a lot of difference.
2. Ryo. He is good at it (considering Eito’s average level of dancing skills) and manages to look cool (but then that’s kind of his specialty, so…)
3. Tatsu. Has extensive experience backdancing for sempais, he has good rhythm and also looks cool (when he’s putting in the effort, which is not always).
4. Maru. He is the middle ground. Looks cool dancing because he’s tall and can move reasonably well.
5. Hina. I don’t think Hina is bad, he can get the job done, however, like with his singing, he lacks softness. Hina is sharp all over.
6. Subaru. The opposite of Yasu, it’s very clear that he dislikes dancing lol Most of the time puts in the minimal amount of effort required to get it done and that’s it.
7. Yoko. So stiff that his stiffness is actually an inside joke within Johnnys. He tries more than Subaru, but not only he is stiff (did I mention that he is stiff?) but also forgets the dance steps a lot.
10. Rank them from 1 to 7 (1 being the best) when it comes to hotness
1. Yokoyama You
Like, really. The best looking by far, even as a kid he was the cutest. He had a slightly awkward phase as an adult already, but once he found his perfect look he stuck to it and very rarely changes it. Thank you The Quiz Show 2 for making him realize what suits him best and that perms and random short/blond hairstyles weren’t for him.
2. Nishikido Ryo
Not much to say here, the guy is just good looking and the fact he pretty much never changes his hair (at least not drastically) is a plus. He knows what looks good on him and sticks to that, thankfully.
3. Okura Tadayoshi
Has to put real effort in ruining his own hair to look ugly. The guy is handsome, although he dresses like a beggar (which is a turn off), but thankfully we have stylists working on him when he’s on camera so we don’t get to see it much.
4. Maruyama Ryuhei
With fringe and preferrably straight hair but very light poodle hair is cool too, but NO PERM. His forehead is kind of big, so he looks better when he has a fringe, although there are some pretty hot looks of his with his forehead showing too.
5. Murakami Shingo
Manly, and I LOVE that. Quite often he is top of my list, depending specially on the hair. I love him with fringe too and with more natural looking hair, just like in the above picture.
6. Shibutani Subaru
This is my favorite Subaru picture ever and it was my header on twitter for a long time. I love him with this look, although my top favorite is actually the long hair from 47 and Puzzle days. Lots of hair on the head, none on the face.
7. Yasuda Shota
The reason I'm putting Yasu last is because he has the nerve to wear this atrocity of a hairstyle and think it's ok. It's not even like he has a reason for it, like a stageplay or something. So YOU STAY LAST UNTIL YOU LEARN, YASU u_u
But really, Yasu needs to chill regarding his hair, he looks the cutest when he's not trying to be too stylish.
