I don't know if you guys have heard but Minot (where I live now) has been having extreme floods. The national guard is here and about a third of the city has been evacuated. Luckily I live on a hill and I should be okay. The river has broken records for how much water is in it and we're still expecting more in the next few days coming down from Canada. There are homes that are almost entirely covered in water where you can only see their roofs. It's pretty much insane already.
To make things worse there is a huge thunderstorm moving through the area, of course, with hail and lightning and flash flood warnings. It looked like solid sheets of water coming down and the road looked like a river. We also had funnel clouds that could have turned into tornadoes. I'm listening to the live streaming news and hoping they don't sound the sirens for a tornado. Are water is also contaminated now so we have to boil water.
