The pick for today is Aqueduct Race8 #1 Black Mariah. She is switching to a top jockey Bejarano Rafael and draws the rail. She has won on off track and should be the main early speed. Sire of horse is Devil His Due. Look for Black Mariah to go for the lead and slow the pace down and then speed down the stretch for a big victory.
Update on the collie. I have still not made the appointment for the vet. Crystal is here now and she does not want me to call. She wants Thor to die on his own and not be killed by the vet. This is a dilemma, since I know he is not going to improve. Should I let him die on his own, or should I pay the vet to kill him. He is resting comfortably now. I was up petting him until 2 am. We watched one of his favorite movies last night The Thin Man. He like's the dog Asta in the movie.
Off from work today. I will be spending all day with the Collie.
My pick at the races yesterday Polish Pride won his race paying $9.80. I had a few dollars on him. So far picks on live journal are 4 wins from 6 races.
