A Man with No Past

My life is compartmentalized.  My entire past separated into segments like a tapeworm.  And there are no bridges to let the people I still love cross from bit to bit.  Some slip through, but mostly they stay put.

I'm aware of the smoking bit. Given the was this thing is currently fucking up my life I'm still allowing myself that vice however--since everything I hear says that nicoteine delays healing, but doesn't stop it entirely.

As to the sodas: I didn't ask you for supplement advice out of the blue. Friday night I had a rather severe "episode" in the ulcer department and since then my diet has consisted of water, bananas, whole wheat bread, low-fat peanut butter, noodles, water, bananas, bananas, bananas, lean turkey, skim milk, carrots, water, bananas, bran, and some green tea from time to time to stave off the caffeine withdrawl headaches. I am no longer allowed, and have not been consuming:
-Soda
-Coffee
-Black tea (tannic acid)
-Alcohol
-MSG
-Beans, nuts and seeds (they lodge in ulcers readily)
-Fat (stimulates the acid producers in the stomach)
-Tomatoes
-Citrus fruit
-Broccoli, onions, bell peppers, brussel sprouts (don't know why, but all the research seems to think it's a good call)
-Chocolate
-Butter
-Anything even slightly spicy

...to name just a few. I am on the no-fat, no-fun diet. I want supplements so that my duration on this diet of hell can be as short as possible. I bought some L-Glutamine last night. Been taking it. Three times a day...whoo. Thanks for the acidophilous tip-- I bought a bunch of yogurt, we'll see how it pans out.

Any word on the mastic gum?
