I'm dizzy, and I don't like it.
First day of classes went swimmingly, though unfortunately I have one class that is so insurmmountably wack that I have no choice but to drop it. Even more unfortunately, that class is the only strictly history class I'm taking this semester, and history is my major. There seems to be a slight flaw in this...
Ah well, my performance design class looks like it's going to be just lovely, and my art history class, while taught by Barbara Bush, seems to cover much interesting material. And the class I'm adding to cover the void left by WACK1101 is a simply fabulous slot about modern Russian literature in translation---oh, there will be Nabokov, yes. In short I am in temporary nerd utopia, marred only by a nagging sense of responsibility unfulfilled from that exercise in historical ridiculousness and the unhappy possibility that this vertiginous sensation of overall blah means I'm coming down with something. Again.
Cheers, nizzles--I'm off to sell my soul to corporate America once more.
