Xmas SurveyHot Chocolate or Apple Cider?:Neither, but if I have to choose, hot chocolate. Turkey or Ham?:Turkey all the way. But we do pitch-in buffets for Christmas dinner. Do you get a fake or real tree?:Fake, but it's the prettiest tree I've ever seen. Decorations on the outside of the house?:Absolutely, not too much, but enough to be festive. Snowball fights or sledding?:Sledding, totally. Do you like hanging around the fireplace because it's warm?:Absolutely, nothing better. Do you enjoy going downtown shopping?:I work in the mall, and have for four Christmases now, so I've learned how to correctly, and quickly, mall shop. Favorite Christmas song?:Carol of the Bells. Or Greensleeves before it became What Child is This? How do you feel about Christmas movies?:ELF is the greatest movie ever! When is it too early to start listening to Christmas music?:The mall starts the first week of November, and that's crazy. Last week and a half of November is right about the right time to do is sparingly. Stockings before or after presents?:Grab the stockings before you open anything, but go through the stocking after presents. Carolers,do you or do you not watch and listen?:Haven't had them come through here in a long time. I used to be a caroler. Go to someone else's house or they come to you?:We go to grandma's house on Christmas Eve, get home about midnight, try for hours to go to sleep. Then, Christmas morning is just the immediate family, and is all day. Do you read the Christmas story? If so, when?:Nope. What do you do after presents and dinner?:Spend a lot of time with family, then stay up all night because it's impossible to get to sleep. Too excited. What is your favorite holiday smell?:Yankee Candle's Cinnoman and Buttercreme burning at the same time. Good stuff. Ice skating or walking around the mall?:Walking around the mall. I wouldn't know how to balance even if I was born on ice skates. Favorite Christmas memory?:My junior Christmas orchestra concert, I was flirty with the guy that would become my boyfriend for a little while that year. Favorite part about winter?:Watching it snow. Favorite Christmas decor?:All the stuff we do inside the house. Our house is so pretty at Christmas. Lights...colored or clear?:Clear is classy and heavenly when you're kissing on the front porch. Colored is nice when being silly. Blue lights are still the most beautiful. What is the best Christmas gift you ever received?:My mom got me an Edward Scissorhands shirt that had my favorite line from the movie on it. It was beautiful and made me cry. It's from a very emotional part in the film. What is your favorite Christmas tradition in your family?:I'm not really sure. Probably just lounging around the houses Christmas morning.
