they really want you, they really do.

I just got back from another awesome E3 in LA. It was... amazing. Even more than last year. I got to see Shigeru Miyamoto playing Zelda. I was interviewed on Today in LA as an industry insider. I drank champagne with a Playboy model. I waiting to see Portal 2 with Peter Molyneux. It was a week filled with surprises and wonderful, wonderful moments.

I met a lot less new people this year--because there were many more familiar faces on the floor, which is such a great feeling. There are some PR people that I only see 2 or 3 times a year, and some people I met for the first time, despite feeling like I knew them already. It's nice to feel like I belong, like I am doing what I am supposed to be doing. Despite barely eating or sleeping and staying in a cramped hotel room and being on my feet all day, it was incredible. I was fueled by adrenaline, and now that I'm back on the east coast, I'm dragging a little bit. I want to be back there. I want to be in the middle of this industry, all the time.

Tonight I'm going to see Hole, which should be pretty amazing. I never ever thought I'd get the chance to see Courtney Love playing Hole songs, and those songs have meant an awful lot to me.

I'm also buried in work and very much looking forward to the weekend.

There aren't enough weekends in summer.
