It takes a minute to have a crush on someone
An hour to like someone
A day to fall in love with someone
But a lifetime to forget someone….
Forever is the only time for love...
For a man like him, every hour is as essential as air. Every hour of his life is spent wisely. Too precise for young aged guy like him. His day start as soon as the sun rises. 6 am he gets up from his bed fix it nicely. Then for half an hour he’ll take a bath, puts freshly ironed clothes and style his hair. Exactly 6:30 he’ll be eating his breakfast. Five minutes of it is for heating microwave processed breakfast. Then after that as he sip his hot coffee, he’ll be checking his schedule, open his mail to check for any messages, then he’ll fix his bag and checks if everything needed in work is in it. Then at 7:00 he’ll be leaving for work. He’ll be working for exactly 8 hours as a business consultant. At 3:30 he’s ready to leave his office to drop by the university. He’s also a consultant there for students taking up business in writing their final paper. Then at 6:00 he’ll be dropping by any near restaurant for his dinner. He go home at 7:00, check again his mail, take a bath, and finish some paper works from the office. If there’s nothing to finish he’ll be sitting on his couch and watch some English movie. Then at exactly 10:00 he’ll be tucking himself to bed. That’s his daily routine. No extra time for things that aren’t scheduled or out of his routine. This is his life. This is Kim Jonghyun.
“I’m boarding the train now..be sure to send me the papers I needed via email..” Jonghyun ended the cal as he let the guard check his luggage. He just called his secretary for additional reminders. He’s on a business trip out of city. He’ll be visiting site where one of his clients planned on building a branch of his business. He couldn’t say no since the man is long time customers of their company. Aside from this fact, there gave him this customer and all he wanted in life is to be the best in the eyes of his boss. Promotion and high payment is his only goal.
Jonghyun settled himself in an empty seat. He sat near the window after disposing his luggage on the stowage bin. He looked at his watched. The ride will take 2 hours before he arrived on the place. 9:00 am so by 11 am I’ll be arriving there..good..the earlier we finished the faster I can get home.. he thought.
After some more minutes of waiting the train started to move. He closed his eyes as he felt tiredness all over his body. He adjusted himself into a more comfortable position and went straight to dreamland.
“we’re having trouble in our engine..so for everyone just relax..we’ll be trying to fix it immediately..you can get off the train if you want but don’t wander too far away..”
Jonghyun slowly woke up as he heard someone shouting near him. he opened his eyes and looked at the window. He looked at his clock and groaned as he slowly understand the situation.
“excuse me..but you see I’m in a hurry..when will this train be fix..?” Jonghyun asked to the train conductor.
“I’m sorry sir..but we’re doing our very best to make it..this is an accident and I’m sorry for any delay we cause on you..”
“what..what do you think I supposed to do now..?”
“well sir..we’re really sorry..if you like while waiting you can walk around..this place is beautiful..fresh air..very different from the city..”
“aish..” Jonghyun rolled his eyes as he went back to his seat. He fished out his phone to call for his office but to add more to his anger it registered no signal.
“where in the world am i? no signal..aish..” Jonghyun stood up making his way out of the train as he raised his phone in air as if signal will come if he does. He was doing this as he walked father from the train. He continued this not until he heard giggling sound from his back. He put down his phone as he turned around to look to this sound. he put his scary face but didn’t last long. There he saw a creature he, Kim Jonghyun, can call beautiful.
And it is true, It only takes a minute to have a crush on someone…
After some minutes of staring to this beautiful thing, Jonghyun averted his gaze as he tried to find his composure back.
“what’s so funny..?”
“I’m sorry but it was fun watching you..you’re like dancing with your hands up in air like this..” Jonghyun was even surprised to hear the boy’s voice. It is sweet. He then looked back at the boy. he was sitting in the grass just beneath a shady tree. He was wearing a plain white long sleeved shirt and blue tight denim pants. His hair is a bit long especially in front and is chestnut brown in color. His eyes are as amazing as his whole face. Too sad one of his eyes is hidden beneath his bangs. His nose is small and his lips are thin as a girl’s lips. He is quite thin and so pale.
“excuse me..you are staring at me..” the boy spoke once more making Jonghyun panicked as he was caught staring.
“I’m..not..it’s just..you know rude to laugh at someone..” Jonghyun stuttered as he hid his face. But too late the other boy already noticed the blush on the other’s face.
“you’re blushing..you like me huh?” Jonghyun looked at the boy surprised with the remark. He’s too blunt for a boy..is he flirting with me?.. he thought.
“Look young man..if you’re flirting with me well I say I’m not interested..” Jonghyun was about to walked away but was stopped when he felt a hold on his arm.
“no..i’m sorry..i didn’t mean to flirt with you..if that what you think I did..” Jonghyun looked at the boy. He was even more amazing up close. He’s skin is flawless and look soft. Jonghyun shook his head as he tried to block some inappropriate thoughts in his mind.
“ok..just let go..i need to go back to my train..”
“but train is not yet fix..it is ok to stay here..i’m also a passenger so don’t worry to be left behind..i’m with someone..he’ll text me if the train will leave..”
Jonghyun couldn’t believe himself as he was persuaded by this boy. As a business consultant you need to be strong not be easily give in to people around you. If you do that’s the end of your career. But in this case he just easily give in and to sum it all to a boy..to a stranger to be exact..
Then there he found himself sitting beside a stranger under a shady tree. He looked at the boy who has his eyes close and seem so relax. He averted his gaze as he scanned his surroundings. It is peaceful. He slowly closed his eyes as cool air blew making him shiver. But it felt good he thought. Then after a while, he was about drift back to sleep when a flash of light startled him.
“what the..?” he shrieked looking at boy in front of him a camera in his hands. “did you just took a picture of me..sleeping..”
“yeah..you look cute so I took one..” the boy smiled as if it was ok to just take pictures of people without permission.
“yah..give it to me..” Jonghyun stood up to reach for the photo but failed as the boy ran away from him. Jonghyun felt competitiveness crawl up his system. He’ll get the photo no matter what. He ran after the boy as he tried to take the photo. From afar it was a beautiful scene to watch. They looked like happy couple having fun in the middle of a peaceful plain. It is simply wonderful.
“you kid..just..give..it..to..mme..” Jonghyun panted after running after the boy for almost 15 minutes now. (he noted that in his mind..)
“I don’t want to..you’re going…to …rip it..i’ll keep it..” the boy was panting the same as him as he supported himself with his back in a tree looking at Jonghyun who has his hands on both knees.
“you don’t look too old to be panting like an old cow after a short time of running..” the boy teased him as the other slowly stepped nearer still have the goal of getting the picture.
“haha..just give it to me now..”
“no..”
“oh you..i…why?..” Jonghyun is really getting annoyed with this game. The young boy is making fun of him and this is the first anyone do it to him.
“I took it..every picture I get are precious to me..pictures are my life..every picture I take have different meaning to me..in pictures you can see things in different perspective..and this is same with my other pictures..i won’t let anyone just throw away a photo I took..i’ll keep it..”
Jonghyun stared at the boy. He’s smart he thought. And second time that day he was amazed by the boy’s beauty.
“ok..do whatever you want..i’m out of here..” he walked away towards the broken train leaving the boy alone under the tree.
It is true. It takes an hour to like someone.
