Summary: Eunhyuk and Sungmin are in a steady relationship. But one day Sungmin goes missing, and Eunhyuk loses his memories. Donghae decides to take care of Eunhyuk, but only without the truth.

"So… you didn't tell me what exactly happened" Donghae said one night after a long day's work. He had just reached home and his feet were sore from walking around due to his busy schedule. Eunhyuk gladly massaged his feet. He then gulped when the question was brought up. "I won't get angry. Just tell me" Donghae said, noticing the change in expression on Eunhyuk's face. Eunhyuk bit his lip before proceeding to explain the truth to Donghae.
"After Sungmin left, i was really angry and sad at the same time. I rolled myself up in a ball in a corner to convince myself that Sungmin was coming back. But when you entered the house and i saw how you took care of me, i knew he wasn't coming back, so i ran out in frustration"
Eunhyuk didn't notice Donghae, so he didn't bother to look up or anything, until he felt a hand touch him. Eunhyuk thought it was Sungmin and immediately raised his head up, full of hopes, but it was shot down when he saw it was Donghae, not Sungmin. "Eunhyuk, what's wrong?" Donghae asked Eunhyuk, even though he knew what had happened, trying to comfort him. Eunhyuk saw Donghae's caring eyes and he immediately thought of Sungmin. Eunhyuk immediately got up and ran out of the house.
"I suddenly heard a loud scream and then a horn, and the next thing black. I… actually recovered from my illness of not being able to speak after that incident. I guess, if you had a shock before, then have a huge shock later, it'll cancel out… I'm not sure but i told the doctor not to tell anyone. My memories weren't fully back yet, but they came back… in a few hours"
Once the two were out, the doctor started explaining to Donghae. "Well, it seems like he has amnesia, though you can't say it's fully amnesia. He seems to just want to forget all the important things around him. It's as if a part of him were keeping him from wanting to remember them. Maybe you can show him a few photos and get him to remember them. It's the best medicine" the doctor told Donghae.
"When we went to the cafe, i overheard the two waiters talking behind me. I was hurt, and i actually wanted to shout at them, but i remembered that you didn't know.. and kept quiet"
"Seriously? A mute? I wonder where Donghae took him in from" "Donghae's too good for that kid, who does he think he is?" "It's only because Donghae's kind" "Still… i deserve him! Not that ugly kid!" "Sshh.. they can hear you" "I don't care! They just should!" "C'mon.. let's go"
"That morning, when i woke up and found out what sort of position i was in, my heart was beating faster than ever when i leaned to my right and saw you. Tempted by everything that was right in front of me, if it wasn't for Ryeowook, i would've done something that would've shocked you for a life time" Eunhyuk continued, chuckling.
That morning, Donghae and Eunhyuk slept in. Ryeowook was bored and wanted to play with Eunhyuk, so he walked to Eunhyuk and Donghae's shared room. When he opened the door he gasped. Donghae was wearing a white wife beater and his hands were wrapped around Eunhyuk's, who's pajama top was unbuttoned half way down.
"Honestly, i want to apologize to Ryeowook too. I asked him for help on how to say a simple 'I love you' when i already knew how to say it. But i needed an excuse on how i was able to say it"
"Eunhyukkie! Good morning!" Ryeowook said, and Eunhyuk smiled and walked towards him. Ryeowook pouted. "That's not a real smile. What's wrong?" Ryeowook asked worriedly. Eunhyuk passed a sheet to Ryeowook. -Train me on how to say 'I love you'- Ryeowook read it and smiled. "Is it for Donghae?" he asked, not able to hide his excitement inside. Eunhyuk smiled shyly. Ryeowook immediately let out a shrill of delight and glomped Eunhyuk.
"I was bored, and decided to find out more about you, how you were before... about your past..."
'You're good friends with Donghae, right?' Eunhyuk questioned. Yesung smiled and nodded. 'How long have you been friends?' Eunhyuk asked again. Yesung thought hard. "7 to 8 years?" Yesung said, unsure of exactly how long. Eunhyuk nodded. 'How was he like back then?' Eunhyuk asked again, shyly. Yesung smiled and gestured Eunhyuk to sit down.
"I picked up the phone one day and i immediately thought that you had spent time with another girl and i got mad and ran away. I passed by a group of guys before they started molesting me. I wanted to cry out for help, but i was too scared i couldn't shout out a single thing. They immediately thought i was mute and decided to have it their way. And that's when you saved me. I was half conscious when you had beaten the guys up and i immediately knew that i had fallen in love with you… and so i confessed"
"Let's see your ankle. I'll call the doctor tomorrow" Donghae said. Eunhyuk nodded. "Come on. Let's go to our room" Donghae said. Eunhyuk nodded and with Donghae's help, they reached their room. Donghae helped Eunhyuk change his clothes and wipe his body. Donghae then took off his wet shirt. Eunhyuk saw bruises and scratches on his body and got worried. Donghae smiled. "Don't worry" he assured Eunhyuk. Donghae wiped his own body and got into bed with Eunhyuk. He faced Eunhyuk and smiled. "I love you" Donghae said again. "I-I… love..y-you" Eunhyuk repeated. Donghae smiled at him. "Don't you say that to anyone else" Donghae told Eunhyuk and Eunhyuk giggled.
"That night when we laid down on the bed, and looked into your eyes, i could see my reflection, and without hesitating… i… made the move" Eunhyuk explained further, blushing at remembering his kiss with Donghae.
Donghae's and Eunhyuk's eye met for a while. Eunhyuk slowly closed his eyes as Donghae neared Eunhyuk. Donghae landed his lips onto Eunhyuk's. Eunhyuk opened his mouth willingly and Donghae stuck his tongue in, exploring Eunhyuk's cavern. After kissing, Eunhyuk blushed, making Donghae chuckle at his cuteness. "Goodnight, Eunhyuk" Donghae said, and both him and Eunhyuk fell asleep.
"When Yoona first came, i could see it in her, that i didn't like her one bit. But who was i to judge a person who i didn't know at all. I took her to your room thinking she was a relative or a friend. I had heard her last comment, about me being a mute. I hated lying, i hated pretending..."
She grumbled, but stopped when she saw an unknown boy walk past her. "You. Do you know where Donghae's room is?" she asked. Eunhyuk turned around and nodded. "Good. Take me to Donghae's room" she ordered again. Eunhyuk nodded and took her, thinking it was a colleague from work or something. "This is his room?" she asked, reaching a door. Eunhyuk nodded. "Okay. You can go now" she said. Eunhyuk nodded and walked off. "Weird boy. Does he not speak? Or is he mute? Gross" she said, before opening Donghae's door.
"When i found both of you in a position that i didn't even want to question, i immediately ran out. Running out into the darkness. After a few hours, i immediately saw light and decided to walk up to it, but i had bad luck… when the car instead came crashing into me. The next thing i knew, i woke up in a hospital. I heard what you and the doctor said, sighing in relief that he didn't spill the truth..."
The doctor told Donghae to take a seat. "Eunhyuk…. You said he is mute?" the doctor asked. Donghae nodded. "I checked his throat area just now, there was nothing wrong with his throat, so it wasn't since birth. The best explanation would be that he must have received something shocking to make him not able to speak. About this, are you his boyfriend or something?" the doctor explained, asking Donghae further. Donghae nodded.
"At the cafe, when we met Yoona again, i was really struck with bad luck. But i guess when you couldn't take it anymore and had shouted at her. Inside… i was really happy. Really happy to have your protection"
"DON'T YOU DARE COME ACROSS US EVER AGAIN!! AND FYI, HE IS NOT JUST A FRIEND! HE'S MY BOYFRIEND!!! SO IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH IT, I SUGGEST YOU TO GO, AND TAKE YOUR ARROGANCE AWAY WITH YOU AS WELL!!!!" Donghae shouted.
"After that is when i had accidentally bumped into Sungmin. I remembered who he was, and he obviously knew who i was. We talked over coffee for an hour. I told him that i had fallen in love with you, and that i was sorry. He shook his head and smiled, saying that he knew all along. He said he would call me to check up on me. I thought there would be no harm done, so i accepted. But that's where i was wrong. I had hurt you, painfully"
"Get out…" Donghae said firmly. Eunhyuk paused. "D-Donghae?" he said in a soft voice. "Get out!" Donghae said louder. "D-Donghae! Let me explain!" Eunhyuk begged, but Donghae didn't want to listen. He felt betrayed. "GET OUT!!!!" Donghae screamed and Eunhyuk jumped in fear. He immediately walked out, not wanting Donghae to scream any further.
"I immediately fled to another country. I stayed there for 3 years, making new friends, having a new life. But something was still missing. You. You were missing from my life and i couldn't take it anymore. I came back, stronger than ever. Honestly, i didn't expect to meet you in that cafe"
Eunhyuk had dropped the glass that he was wiping in shock and the glass shattered on the ground. "D-Donghae…" Eunhyuk muttered. "Eun…hyuk…" Donghae mumbled, both of them still looking unbelievably at each other.
"When your lips were on mine again, i could feel myself complete. I was happy again. I… My love didn't change… for the past 3 years. I loved you, and i still love you. Lee Donghae" Eunhyuk whispered the very last sentence. Donghae looked into Eunhyuk's eyes and smiled. He then leaned in and kissed him again. "Then Eunhyuk, please marry me" Donghae announced. Eunhyuk's eyes widened. "W-what?" he stuttered. "I, Lee Donghae, would like to ask Lee Eunhyuk for his hand in marriage" Donghae said, smiling, looking at Eunhyuk. "I-It's not allowed" Eunhyuk stuttered again, still not believing what's happening in front of him. "We don't have to marry officially. As long as it's in your heart that i'm your husband, it's fine with me" Donghae said, pecking Eunhyuk's lips. Tears streamed down Eunhyuk's cheeks, and Eunhyuk, lost for words, just nodded furiously and hugged Donghae. "I love you" Donghae whispered. "I love you too…" Eunhyuk whispered back. And so then starts their journey of their new life: Both men, not officially married, having gold studded rings on their ring finger, walking around proudly, hand-in-hand.
"And that was the love story of my friends. Class is over! See all of you tomorrow" Ryeowook said, waving bye to his kindergarten students. "Really? Teaching kindergarten kids love?" a person at the door grinned. "Yesung!" Ryeowook squealed, eyes sparkling at the arrival of his lover. Yesung pecked Ryeowook's lips. "But really. I think Kibum's already falling in love with Henry!" Ryeowook squealed. Yesung shook his head at his innocent boyfriend. "I'm serious!!!!!"
Now, i can safely say that i have mentioned all 13+2 boys in my fic!!!! Yes, the lovely and amazing boys that i love so much!
I can finally bid farewell to this fanfic and it was a blast writing it and having all of you comment on it.
Thank you all so much for your overwhelming support and i look forward to writing another fic for all of you ((: (already having one idea on my mind)
Though, i'm going to finish up the last chapter for 'Loving Hurts So Much' first.
My writing is getting worse isn't it? I really apologize but this is the best idea i can come up with since i needed to explain everything! and since everything was on Donghae's point of view, we can see how it was on Eunhyuk's point of view (:
