years later...and a year on top of that - prince of tennis II OVA

I don't think I want to bother with the actual "series" part of this, but that 7 episode OVA was the most hilarious, wonderful, SILVER PAIR FILLED *thing* I have ever seen. So much fan service I could not handle it. but the torishishi was insanely real and spanned 3 episodes was it? CRAZY! LOVED IT! oh and its always delicious when they feed your head cannon isn't it? I'd always pictured Ohtori and Jiroh to be good friends, mostly cuz of mari and I but LOOK AT THEM IN THIS! so cuuuute. and ohtori being an emotional little puppy with the tears, yet he challenged *atobe* of all people for shishido's honor. and won. by being a sneaky little thing. ahh everything I ever thought him to be by taking the little bit of out-of-tennis-game-canon we had (compared to Seigaku we had next to nothing to work with!) and adding my own imagined traits to him... TT_TT; it was just perfect! and ridiculously giggle-inducing to hear that Ikyuu nyuuu KON again.

just had to share my thoughts here. ;)

by the way, Haikyuu is REALLY GOOD! Ace of Diamond is too! I guess sports anime will always always have a hold on my heart no matter how many years go by.
