im yoona was a broken girl. not really sure where the lines of stupidity and ignorance laid. but maybe that was how it was supposed to be.
broken and too blank to realize that tomorrow was actually today. she used to play with razors and giggle when she saw blood. maybe that was how it was supposed to be.
if it wasn't for shim changmin, though. he was tall and old, his hands weren't soft or delicate like hers. they calloused and rough, large and overbearing. so when he first met her and brushed his fingers over her arms, she wasn't sure what to say. he was at least a head taller than her. he was quiet and too sarcastic to her likings, but it amused her even more.
she was in detention, the first time they met. her fingers itched to rub against her arm like times before. what would her stepmother say? would she scream like before? she wanted and was tempted to know. her lips bit back the temptation, and the deafening silence came to an uproar.
the honor student shim changmin managed to get in detention. lovely. her eyes watched as he smirked in her direction. she only stared blankly at his humorous action before looking down at her arms and seeing a tint of red.
she did it again.
unconsciously rubbing her arm so hard that the friction peeled off her skin, it stung, but slowly trickled into a numb pain.
shim changmin passed by, hands in his ungodly pockets, but managed to spot a seat next to the messed up girl. his eyes looked at her scars. unconsciously, he ran his fingers across her skin and sent a jolt of panic through her bones.
smirking, the man said, "i'm changmin." she looked up from the blood, locking her orbs with his. he was a tall man, she concluded. she smiled and quietly mumbled the two characters of her name.
another all-knowing smirk. "i know." he stopped talking altogether and ran his calloused fingers across her skin. sending her jolts of panic through her bones and a touch of magic to her wounds.
it was the first time and nothing less.
