“You have to take us with you! You have to! It’s the party of the year…how can you go alone without us? I thought we’re best friends, Minnieya!”, Junsu whines, grabbing Changmin’s left arm and pulling on it while Yoochun does the same with the other, both blinking their eyes as cutely as they possibly can. Changmin doesn’t know what he wants more - to clock their heads together to shut them up or puke from the excessive cuteness. Maybe he should do both. God knows it would probably shut them up for good.
“Let me go, hyung! Aish!”, he swings his arms out of their clutch, almost throwing them to the ground from the force. Both Junsu and Yoochun stare at him, lips trembling and adorableness turn up full blast. Geez.
“It’s not my decision to make! If you two want to go, you got to ask Choikang yourself. I’m so not asking him for you. Bad enough I was practically forced to accept the invitation…I don’t even like this sort of dinner party…”, he mumbles more to himself, righting the placement of his glasses as he huffs. He had just closed the shop a few minutes ago and sent the last customer on her way, but he failed to kick his two friends out before he shut the door. Junsu and Yoochun had been hiding behind the counter for God knows how long, conspiring with his fellow co-worker who willingly hid the two mischievous boys. Even the manager kept one eye closed on this supposedly criminal act, letting the two to pester Changmin as he cleans the counter by himself.
“What did you two tell Dongwook-hyung, huh? He hates pests…I’m still surprised he let you two bugs in.”
“We are definitely not bugs!”
Junsu pouts as Yoochun bites his trembling lower lips.
“Yeah, not bugs…more like pitiful, squashed puppies.”, Changmin chuckles, he can’t help it.
“It’s not fair, you know…Why did Choikang invite you and not us? We’re definitely cuter and more charming than you are…”, Yoochun whispers dejectedly, voice lowering in the last sentence which is only meant to be shared between him and Junsu. Changmin hears it though, and he clubs the back of Yoochun’s head with his fist. Yoochun falls to the ground, folding in pain. Junsu gasps, overdramatic.
“Why shouldn’t he invite me? I can be cute and charming too, okay?!”, Changmin glares at the two as he continues to collect the used tea cups from the counter. It is unfair how people always think he isn’t capable of being cute…he damn well can! He just doesn’t like to misuse it like certain people (i.e. Kim Junsu and Park Yoochun) do!
“Well I can certainly be a witness to that...”, a voice pipes in from nowhere, and Changmin pivots on his feet so fast he nearly drops the tray he’s holding. Junsu and Yoochun squeal excitedly, and Changmin feels a throbbing headache coming at the sight of Choikang leaning against the door leading to kitchen, grinning his usual sexy smile.
Did I just think that his smile is sexy…Changmin shudders at the realization, inwardly trying to salvage his melting spine and his malfunctioning brain at the way Choikang licks his lower lips and leers (oh fuck he leers at me! ohmyfuckinggodwhyisheleeringatme?)
The world turns black and white as Choikang strides purposefully towards him, Junsu and Yoochun fading into stools and counters and tea cups. Changmin realizes that he hasn’t move an inch or make any sound since he saw the man, regretting how his feet seem to grow roots into the ground and his thoughts turning into scattering mess inside his mind. He doesn’t want to appear weak in front of Choikang, ever. But that’s exactly what Changmin is doing when he is faced with 188cm of total hotness and confidence - oh hell he couldn’t even think when Choikang is around!
“W-what a-are you d-doing here? How d-did you g-get in?”, Changmin asks, stuttering all over his words. He bites his tongue, not wanting to make a fool of himself further more. Choikang smiles softly and Changmin hears someone sighs dreamily in the background and wonders who make the sound.
“Dongwook-hyung let me in. Did I tell you before that hyung and I are cousins?”, Choikang replies as he leans in to kiss Changmin’s cheek. Changmin splutters and remembers belatedly that his two best friends are still there, and instantly regrets how they have witness the gooey, bone-melting fluff moment happening between him and Choikang. He snaps his gaze towards Junsu and Yoochun, who are clinging to each other making kissy faces at Changmin, eyes shining too brightly for his liking. As quickly as he can, he shoves Choikang off him, giving him a pointed sharp glare.
“Who gives you the right to do that?!!”, he hollers, wiping his cheek with the back of his hand disgustedly. His two friends giggle, certainly not helping him at all. Changmin glares at them both, effectively shutting them up.
“But we’re dating, aren’t we Changmin-ah?”, Choikang replies with a question, eyeing Changmin sadly. Changmin takes a deep breath and feels his will shatters to tiny weeny pieces, crying inwardly at his lack of resolve. Why is he so weak when it comes to everything cute?
In the background, he hears Junsu and Yoochun crows in delight. He sighs, defeated. Him being friends with those two already serves as evidence of how spineless he is when it comes to cutesy things, or in many cases, sickeningly cute people.
“Who says we’re dating?!”, Changmin answers back as he tries futilely to save his remaining grace, jutting out his chin and biting his lower lips to stop the trembles. He hopes to heaven Choikang couldn’t see how nervous he was. It’s bad enough that all Changmin could dream about these days is Choikang, he doesn’t want to let the man knows how efficiently he’s robbing Changmin of his precious self-control too.
“You agreed to go to the dinner with me, so that makes you my date, Changmin-sshi.”
“That…I’m not-”
“Did you forget you said yes to my invitation? Tsk. What a bad memory for a genius like you.”
“Of course I remember! I never said I forget it…”
Choikang grins and Changmin had to look elsewhere to hide the blush. His best friends are totally invisible now, the sounds of their cackles and giggles dissolving into insignificance. It is absolutely crazy how he could hear Choikang breathes, his own heart pounding like drums beneath his ribcage.
“That’s good to hear, since we’re going to pick your suit for the dinner after this. I’ve ordered it with mine and it’s ready. We need to see if the fitting is alright. I want you to look perfect that night, Changmin…not that you aren’t now.”, Choikang states gently, head tilting to the side as he tries to catch Changmin’s eyes. He chuckles when Changmin looks to his own shuffling feet, obviously shy at being the center of attention.
Choikang turns to Changmin’s friends - who are looking at him with hopeful eyes. They are too adorable, Choikang thinks, and what comes out of his mouth later elicits not only a gleeful shout of ‘yeay we’re invited!’ but also a too-tight hug from the two. Oh well, they come with the package.
*
It was finally the night of the gala. After much chaos at Changmin’s house which involve Yoochun mistakenly wearing Junsu’s pants and Junsu crying hysterically at not being able to fit into his (which was actually, like duh, Yoochun’s pants), they are finally in the limousine Choikang had sent to pick the three of them up.
Changmin shifts in his seat, his stomach feeling like it had morphed into tentacle-y sea creature and is trying to crawl out of his esophagus. This is the first time he has ever been invited to a party and God knows how terrified he is at making a fool of himself. He looks at his reflection in the tinted mirror and thanks the heaven he looks at least presentable. Yoochun helped him styled his short hair up with a slight Mohawk, and Junsu bought him a pair of contact lenses and insisted he wears them because, as Junsu had said, glasses will make him look like a nerd. Changmin had grumbled in protest at the comment and secretly slips his spectacle into his jacket pocket, just in case.
They arrive at the hotel in style, the chauffeur opening their limousine door and welcoming them with a hand gesture Changmin has only ever seen done in movies. Junsu and Yoochun squeal behind him, as they step out onto the red carpet, Changmin the first one to appear followed by Yoochun and Junsu. The flashes of camera lights blind Changmin for few seconds, almost throwing him off-balance before a hand captures his to steady him up, and he blinks to see Choikang smiling sweetly at him, tall and handsome in a black tuxedo.
“Hi.”
“H-hi..”, Changmin greets nervously, trying to school a smile out of his suddenly stiff lips. Choikang grins effortlessly, steering him away from the crowd to the hall inside, one hand still clasping tight to Changmin’s own. Changmin notices the murmurs around them and realizes instantly that they are steadily garnering attention. He shakes his hand away from Choikang’s, which in turn makes Choikang hold it tighter.
“Let go of my hand! People are looking!”, Changmin hisses, smiling nervously at the onlookers. Choikang just grins at him, leaning closer to whisper into his ear.
“Let them look. I don’t care. You’re my date, and I’m allowed to hold my date’s hand at the very least. And plus, you look extremely gorgeous, baby, so it’s not their fault they can’t tear their eyes away from you… I can barely do so myself.”
That effectively shut him up. And made him blush like a ripe tomato.
*
The event went along smoothly, starting by a speech by the company’s CEO, who talked about the accomplishment of Kim’s Corporation and how the company has successfully branched out into new fields - namely pharmaceutical and environmental research - and congratulating the efforts and hard work of the employees. Changmin had listened in rapt attention, because he is interested in the said fields which are his majors in university and this might help him in the future. Later on, the guests are free to roam the dining hall, but since the dinner is served by the tables, most decide to stay and chat among their own cronies.
The three of them were seated at the very back of the hall to a table of their own, which Changmin is grateful of because he hates the attention he seems to be getting from the guests of the party. Junsu and Yoochun are not very happy with it though, grumbling at how being seated at the back would lower their chances at getting girls to notice their handsome selves.
“This is so unglamorous, okay? Choikang should have given us better seats…I can’t even see the stage clearly!”, Junsu grouses, falling back in his chair and linking his arms in front of his chest in a show of protest.
Yoochun nods in support, mirroring Junsu’s act, “Totally. We’re almost invisible here…how can we get girls to notice us if we are invisible?”
“And no one is sitting with us…we look like fools!”
“I know! The girls don’t even spare us a single glance! And we’ve rented such expensive suits some more!”
“The girls probably thought we’re gay, Chun…”
“Oh no, Junsuyah! They can’t!”
“Well, what can we do, Yoochunah? We’re no one here…not like that someone who is invited by the president’s son…”
“Tsk, how sad can we be, Junsuyah? Why oh why is that someone’s boyfriend so cruel to us?”
Changmin rolls his eyes at their incessant whines but decides not to comment on them, in fear of making an unwanted scene at the posh party. If he had accepted Choikang’s invitation to sit with him at the front table, they would forever accuse him of being a traitor and he will never live them down. He smiles inwardly at the thought of Choikang, heart fluttering because he is positively enjoying Choikang’s presence and attention tonight. Even the thought of finally admitting the fact that he’s falling in love with Choikang doesn’t seem so scary and appalling anymore.
Someone taps him on the back and startles him out of his fluffy thoughts, and he turns to see Jaejoong smiling excitedly at him.
“I’m so glad to see you here! And oh boy, you look wonderful Changmin-sshi! If I wasn’t already engaged, I’d totally make a move on you!”, the older man gushes, and Changmin colors instantly at the flirtatious compliment he hears in Jaejoong’s remark. Yoochun and Junsu look at him in question, befuddled by the sudden appearance of a stranger.
“Oh excuse my manners… Jaejoong-hyungnim, these are my best friends, Park Yoochun and Kim Junsu. They go to the same college as Choikang and I, different majors though. Yoochun, Junsu…this is Choikang’s older brother, Kim Jaejoong-hyungnim.”
“Hi boys…what a pretty lot you guys are! Just call me Jaejoong-hyung or hyung, or just Jae. I’m not that old.”
Jaejoong beams at the two and winks, taking their hands in firm handshakes. Junsu and Yoochun are thoroughly dazzled by the beautiful man, both of their mouths gaping at the sight of the handsome man in white tailored suit. Changmin wonders inwardly if they realize how lovestruck they look right now.
“Where’s Yunho-hyungnim?”, Changmin asks, looking around. Jaejoong pouts, and Changmin knows this could only means there’s trouble in paradise.
“He’s outside, calming his nerves. I told him it’s not a big deal, but he keeps freaking out! Geez, it’s just an engagement announcement…we haven’t even chosen the date for the wedding yet!”
“Y-you’re getting… m-married?”, Choikang suddenly appears from behind Jaejoong, his face paling visibly. Jaejoong turns in surprise, biting his lips when he realizes he had blurted out the surprise he had planned for two weeks now.
“Oh…err…Choikang…ummm…yes…I’m, uh, getting married. To Yunho. Yes. Oh gosh you shouldn’t know about it like this! It is supposed to be announced later…as a surprise gift for you!”, Jaejoong says regretfully, holding tightly to Choikang’s hand.
“This is…surprising enough…hyung.”
Changmin sees how Choikang’s smile wilts little by little, his eyes shrouding with pain and immediately, a bulb alights in Changmin’s mind as apprehension settles in.
Kim Choikang is in love with his own brother. Oh God no. Oh my God no no no no no!
He might be naïve about love but he certainly isn’t that stupid to not notice this kind of thing! Changmin feels bitter bile collecting in his throat at the painful reality. So Choikang wasn’t interested in him after all. He was just using Changmin as a substitute, as a distraction to keep his mind off the man he is truly in love with. Changmin feels like crying, feels like punching someone’s teeth in, feels like screaming, feels like… dying.
“I’m…I’m sorry… I have to go.”, Changmin excuses himself before he runs out of the hall, Junsu and Yoochun’s voice calling for him fail to register in his muddled mind. Choikang wasn’t in love with him…he’s in love with his brother! He’s in love with the beautiful Kim Jaejoong!
*
Tears stream down Changmin’s cheek as he runs and runs, not knowing where he is heading to but letting his feet take him as far away as they can. This could not be happening. Not to him. Not to his first love. He finds himself alone in the middle of a garden, the flower bushes silent and all he could hear are the sounds of his pitiful sobs and strangled breaths. He hates this, he really hates this.
How cruel can fate be? The one person he decided to let into his heart is also the person who has shattered it to pieces. Changmin knows he shouldn’t have let Choikang in…shouldn’t have let the guy stole his heart in that callous, flirting ways of his. He curses himself for being so pathetic and letting himself be hurt like this when he should have doubled up his guards and thickened the walls when Choikang had stepped too close for comfort. He never let anyone in as near as Choikang had been, never let anyone see him weak and stumbling for control as Choikang had seen him doing. Oh God how low he had sunk!
Changmin falls on his knees, doubling on himself as he grips the grass, not caring that he is soiling the expensive suit Choikang had ordered and specially made for him. He cries and cries, face thoroughly drenched by his tears as he thinks of what had happened.
He must have looked like a fool to Choikang. A fool who falls in love with him when he’s in love with someone else!
“Changmin-ah! Baby where are you?!”
He hears Choikang’s voice calling for him, and curls up tighter into a ball, trying to hide himself behind the bushes. He doesn’t want to see Choikang’s face, not when he’s hurting like this. He’s afraid that he’s going to be more pathetic and fall into Choikang’s arms. He knows he had fallen deep and hard for the devil Kim Choikang.
He listens as Choikang’s steps near, clamping his mouth with his own palm to muffle the sobs. His tears are flowing still, over his hand and down his chin.
“Changmin-ah! Changmin, where are you? Please…come out of your hiding…let’s talk, okay? Baby…please…don’t do this to me…”, Choikang pleads earnestly, his breaths shallow and heavy. He had been running around the hotel looking for Changmin, when he saw the guy ran towards the garden. There is only one entrance which also serves as the exit to the garden, and he knows Changmin is here somewhere, hiding behind one of the flower bushes.
A choked sound is heard from one of the bushes to his left. He walks slowly to the bush, and notices right away the shadow of a crouching man. Deciding on waiting for Changmin to come out on his own, Choikang settles down on the other side of the bush, knowing well that Changmin could hear him clearly.
“Baby, why did you run away? I…need you in there…with me. Did I do something wrong? Please tell me if I did something to make you mad, Changmin-ah…”, Choikang inhales a deep breath before letting it out in a shaky sigh,
“You know what, baby? Tonight is the first time I enjoy coming to a dinner like this. I never like coming to formal dinners, for the simple fact that I couldn’t find anything interesting and fun enough to keep my mind occupied. But tonight…tonight you are here, baby. You, smiling shyly in your black suit and looking absolutely stunning and I was…taken. Taken wholeheartedly by you. I couldn’t even describe this feeling I’m having. It’s like there has always been a void in my heart, Changmin-ah, and you fill that void tonight with that sweet smile of yours. I love being near you…and knowing that you are next to me calms me down so much. It’s like I could do anything, you know? Like anything is possible. You give me that strength, that patience, that courage…”
Changmin feels his heart squeezes tightly, almost too painfully for him to handle. Another sniveling sob comes out and he bites down on his tongue, stilling anymore sound threatening to escape.
Choikang hears this though. He feels his own heart breaking at the thought of Changmin crying, and wants nothing more than to hold the man close in his arms as he dries the pain away. But he needs Changmin to let him do that, and let him know why he runs away in the first place. His mind is confused by the situation, but his heart has never been surer of what it is feeling right now.
Kim Choikang has fallen in love with Shim Changmin.
He isn’t sure of the when, how and why, but the truth is there, so vivid that he could almost grasp the love with his hands. Thoughts of his love for Jaejoong had reduced to a slight burr of emotions he could easily forget now.
“Shim Changmin...”, Choikang calls out gently, his voice certain and gaining confidence by the seconds, “…I am in love with you.”
He hears it, the torrents of sobs spilling from clenched hand, the sound unbidden and unstoppable. He stands up as quickly as he can, jumping over the bush to get to Changmin, who gasps in surprise at his sudden appearance. Not wasting one more second to hesitance, Choikang envelops Changmin in his arms, holding him tight and letting his tears wet his shirt front.
Changmin punches Choikang’s back as strongly as he can, wanting to be let free but his resolve weakens as Choikang holds him closer and tighter with each thump of his fists.
“Stop…lying…to…me! Just…stop!”, Changmin yells out, fingers clawing at Choikang’s back. Although he fights to be freed, his body wants nothing more than to curl into the warmth of Choikang’s embrace. He could hear Choikang’s heart beating furiously underneath his shirt, could feel how the man quavers in what seems like fear.
“I don’t lie to you, Changmin! I love you, I really do!”, Choikang says fervently, pulling back a little to look into Changmin’s eyes and let him know there’s no lie there. His heart breaks at seeing Changmin’s tearful face, and he thumbs the angry tears away as he holds Changmin’s face in between his palms. Changmin struggles to look elsewhere, not wanting to let Choikang see him as weak as he feels right now.
“Baby look at me…look at me please!”, he begs, and Changmin stops struggling for a second to sob, face squished between Choikang’s hands, “I love you, no, I’m in love with you, Shim Changmin! I wouldn’t lie about this kind of things. I know it’s hard to believe since it comes from someone with reputation as bad as mine, but I honestly do not lie about loving you. What can I do to make you believe me? Tell me, baby, please!”
Changmin snivels, clutching Choikang’s wrists, “How could I believe you, when I know the truth, Choikang-ah? You couldn’t be in love with me…you love your brother! You love Jaejoong-hyung!”
Choikang’s eyes widen as his hands drop to the ground. Was he that obvious to read? But he wasn’t…he gave up on his brother weeks ago! He’s not in love with Jaejoong anymore!
“See? You didn’t even deny it…and you told me you’re in love with me. I don’t want to be a substitute, Choikang…I can’t be Jaejoong-hyung for you. How do I compete with a man like him? He’s beautiful, he’s kind and he’s fun…he’s everything I’m not and will never be. So don’t tell me you love me, Choikang, because it’s just fucking impossible that you do…”, Changmin says almost inaudibly, his words stifled by his tears. Choikang blinks and suddenly realization hits him like tons of bricks.
“Do you love me, Changmin?”, Choikang asks, almost breathlessly. Changmin’s eyes snap up, angry now more than ever.
“Of course I do! Are you tr-“, his word is cut off when Choikang’s lips touch his, effectively silencing his protest. His eyes rounded, body frozen as Choikang kisses him passionately. He tries to push the guy away, but then he feels it…Choikang is crying as he kisses him.
“Baby, you love me...you love me...you love me...”, Choikang mutters brokenly into Changmin’s mouth, kissing him repeatedly. Changmin feels his heart break further more, not sure what he should do and what to believe anymore. More tears spill between the two of them, as they kiss each other, wanting nothing but to drown their sorrow and find solace in each other.
Choikang pulls away after a while, still holding Changmin close. Letting their foreheads touch, Choikang sniffles before he confesses what he had been hiding in his heart all his life.
“It’s true I was in love with Jaejoong-hyung before…but that’s before I know you better, Changmin-ah. I admit I wasn’t in love with you when we started talking…but the more I teased and talked to you…the more I like and love you. I was slowly falling for you, baby. I never feel this way with other people that I used to date, and please believe me on this. You’re different, Changmin…I feel like you see right through me...it is as if you can see my soul and know my core just through a single glance.”
“Hyung was my only friend since I was a kid…he’s my hero. You don’t know how hard it is knowing my birth had stripped him off his privileges…seeing him swallow the double-standard but still treating me like I was his own younger brother, never saying anything about his fate and how unfair our parents are towards the two of us. I admire him, Changmin, and for so long I thought that admiration could be translated into something akin to a love between lovers. I was devastated when I knew he’s with Yunho-hyung…but that knowledge also brought me down to the ground, let me see the truth of things.”
Choikang stares into Changmin’s eyes, and he feels warm from head to toe at the love he finds there, shining so brightly and without pretense, “I’m sorry you have to find out about it like this…I truly am sorry, baby. I was disappointed that hyung didn’t tell me about his wedding plan, because I know he would want to adopt Yunho-hyung’s family name and evades from being the heir as I wish him to…”, he sighs, closing his eyes as he feels Changmin’s arms tighten around his waist, “…I don’t want to let him go, baby. I don’t want hyung to not be apart of Kim family. He deserves the best. We’re brothers, Jaejoong-hyung and I…and nothing more. I don’t love him that way, Changmin-ah…not anymore. I love you. I don’t want him as my lover…I want you. I need you.””
Changmin understands everything now - putting into pieces what Jaejoong had told him before and Choikang’s admission. To be in love with your own brother…how painful is that? How long has he been keeping that love inside…seeing his brother in love with someone else? He might not feel what Choikang feels when he knows Jaejoong is in love with Yunho, but he knows how loving someone and not having that person loves you back…is such a tormenting, excruciating pain.
He collects all the strength he has left, touching his lips timidly to Choikang as he says, voice soft but certain,
“I need you too. Kim Choikang…I love you.”
*
The wedding day comes quicker than anyone had expected. Busy with the preparations and all sorts of thing that comes with being the best men to the grooms, Choikang and Changmin barely have time for their budding love. In addition to that, the second half of the semester has just started, giving them scant chance to build on their new relationship.
Changmin remembers all too clearly the thing that happened on the night of the gala. It was the single most embarrassing thing that ever happened to him, but also, if he is fully honest to himself, the most wonderful yet. Junsu and Yoochun had teased him mercilessly about it, especially when they were found by Yunho and Jaejoong all tangled up in kisses behind the bush. Thank God no one was there when they were confessing their love for each other, tears and snots combined. Soap opera moments much? Changmin shudders at the thought of others knowing what exactly had taken place that night.
“Hey gorgeous, what are you thinking about?”, Choikang whispers into Changmin’s ear, making him jump in surprise. Changmin turns and shoots an accusing glare his boyfriend’s way, brows furrowing in displeasure.
“Quit doing that! Want me to die of heart attack or something?”, Changmin hisses, but his hands naturally move to correct the placement of Choikang’s kerchief and to smooth the creases on Choikang’s jacket. Choikang grins, happy to be pampered and cared for.
“If you die, I’ll die with you because you’re the reason I’m still living. You’re the air I breathe, baby...you’re my oxygen.”, Choikang teases, and Changmin had to bite his lips from smiling at the overload of cheese. He punches Choikang’s shoulder playfully, huffing indignantly although his cheeks blush positively pink.
“Yeah right…I bet you said that to men and women wherever you go.”
“What men, what women? I only have you baby…you’re my melody…non naui norae…”, Choikang singsongs, clutching his heart dramatically and Changmin finally couldn’t help but laugh at his boyfriend’s antics.
“Stop it. You’re such a creep.”
“You love me anyway.”, Choikang grins, as he grabs Changmin near and links his arms around Changmin’s waist. Changmin looks down and blushes, still not used to be embraced as close as this.
“Hey, look up, I’m here.”, Choikang says softly, nudging Changmin’s chin up with a finger. When he finally does, Choikang swiftly takes his lips with his own, suckling at Changmin’s full lips and tangling his tongue with Changmin’s. His boyfriend tastes so sweet, so innocent…so exciting.
And a part of his body strongly agrees with the notion.
Changmin gasps as he feels Choikang grinds his erection against his own, and his heart thunders when he realizes he is half-hard himself. Just kissing and he’s already so turned on? Oh no. Changmin begins to panic, because he has never done anything sexually intimate with another person before! And Choikang…he’s surely an expert at everything sexual!
“Choikang, no…”, Changmin breathes out, slowly entangling himself away but Choikang pulls him tighter, not letting their bodies part.
“But baby, we’ve been going out for four months…”, Choikang whines, before he realizes what he is asking and sighs resignedly, “…Do you need more time, baby? I can wait…I just hope you know that we are going to do this one day. You can’t expect me to have you near and not want to touch you…I’m a normal man, Changmin-ah, and you’re so damn sexy. I will wait…I just don’t know how long I can.”
Changmin bites his lips, looking at Choikang for long seconds, obviously weighing his thoughts before he looks away, his face reddening as he speaks,
“I don’t… need more time. I just want you…to go slowly. You know this is…”, Changmin quiets, looking down at his hands that are resting on Choikang’s chest. Choikang feels his heart blooms at his lover’s sweetness, knowing how important this is for Changmin.
“Your first, I know. I will go slowly, and you will enjoy this, promise. We’re not going all the way now, baby…”, Choikang reassures Changmin, pulling him closer before nipping his lips gently, “…I’m just going to show you some things…that will make you want me more.”
They kiss some more, warring and tangling their tongues as they taste each other. Changmin moans into Choikang’s mouth, and Choikang clutches Changmin’s waist tighter with one arm, the other hand trailing down Changmin’s chest to fumble with his belt. Changmin gasps in surprise when he finally feels Choikang’s fingertips against his belly, almost icy cool against the hotness boiling at the pits of his stomach. Choikang continues to caress his heated skin, trailing his fingers along his abs and around his navel, coming close to the edge of his brief but not venturing lower.
Changmin keens in need, pushing his clothed erection against Choikang’s. He is overwhelmed by his desire, wanting nothing but Choikang’s cold finger wrapped around his painfully aroused shaft.
“Honey please…”, Changmin pleads, and almost couldn’t recognize the gruff and wantonness of his own voice. Choikang groans as his control crumbles, one hand finally finding its way into the close confine of Changmin’s dark blue brief, pulling the hardness out from its nest.
“Ah!”, Changmin gasps as Choikang pulls and rubs along his shaft, the man’s fisted palm providing him with much needed friction. He grips Choikang’s shoulder, fingers digging into the expensive material of Choikang’s jacket, not caring if he’s dimpling the carefully ironed shirt and is on the verge of dirtying the rest of their garments.
Choikang breathes sweet nothings into Changmin’s ears, whispering wicked things that they are going to do when they finally get to bed and Changmin comes hard at the thought of having Choikang inside his body, shaking as he empties his seeds in Choikang’s hand.
There is a wet splotch down the front of Choikang’s trouser, Changmin notices as he breathes harshly in the aftermath of his orgasm. He had made Choikang come without even touching him there, and that mere thought makes him grin happily like a stupid fish.
“What?”, Choikang asks breathlessly, kissing Changmin’s sweaty forehead as he wipes his hand with some tissues, before helping his boyfriend tuck his shirt in and zip his pants up.
“Nothing.”, Changmin smiles, kissing Choikang softly on the lips, “You’re amazing. I love you.”
Choikang smiles back, holding Changmin close again as he growls proudly, “That was nothing compared to what I have planned for you, baby. Can’t wait to get you in my bed. In fact, I say let’s screw this damn wedding and go back now!”
“Oy what is this I hear about screwing the wedding?! You two, no hanky panky before the ceremony! Gosh, for heaven’s sake, I’m the groom and I have more self-control than you two horny birds!”, Jaejoong’s indignant shout from the door make them both freeze, before Changmin has the decency to pull himself away and turns around to greet the man of the day, hiding Choikang’s body and the evidence of their naughty foray.
“H-hi Jaejoong-hyung.”
Jaejoong bites back a grin as he throws a dress pants towards them both.
“I know this will happen the moment I saw Choikang follows you into the room. Ah young love…”, Jaejoong says longingly, eyes looking up at nothing in particular before he sighs,
“You better change now, dongsaeng…we’re starting in five minutes. And you Changmin, someone tells me Yunho is freaking out again. Go and calm him down. If he continues to freak out, just tape his mouth, tie his hands and feet, and drag him to the altar. I expect to see my handsome groom waiting for me when I walk down the aisle, no matter what it takes. Okay?”
Both of them laugh after Jaejoong turns and walks out. Changmin makes to follow but before he could step away, he is pulled into Choikang’s arms for one final kiss, just long enough to remind him that there’s more of it later on.
And oh boy, he just can’t wait.
