3 reasons my life is good
1. An intelligentsia opened around the corner from my work, and although it means i'll be spending $2 on coffee more often i love their traditional cappuccinos.
2. Today was the last day of classes. Except for the final next week, i never have deal deal with stupid Dr. Lemke again (Except of course if he doesn't retire by the time i have to take senior design which he exclusively teaches...but he better - its way past time!) Lemke will always be famous in my mind for telling us we were all dumber than a bunch of parrots when the average on a quiz was 30/100...um, when the whole class fails, whose fault is it really?
3. My tomato plants are actually growing. I have never grown food before, but i'm attempting tomatoes and carrots this year. they're doing well so far, so people can expect to have some fruits of my labor dumped on them at the end of the summer, along with the usual herb bounty. The one sad thing is that i wasn't able to get my tea seeds that i planted at the same time to sprout. I set some aside, though, so i'll try again over the summer.
