why hello there LJ
For I know no other journal space!
Busy with work these last months. The team is growing and I now represent my team on a major interdepartmental project. While it's rewarding and intellectually stimulating and I love and respect the colleagues who have likewise been assigned to the project, it's also very challenging: 60+-hour work weeks, stupidly high complexity, and extremely ambitious deadlines. I get less time to game, chat, sleep, and even be with my family since most weekdays I get up, go to work, come home from work, eat dinner quickly and either shower or unwind and head straight to bed.
Life in general, however, is very good. This last weekend was the Thanksgiving holiday, a day that for me is a time to feel deep joy and humble thanks -- home, health, shelter, finances, family, friends, colleagues, mentors, life companion -- for having always been provided for physically, emotionally, and spiritually. How abundantly blessed I have been through no merit of my own...!
