Whoa its hot in my room. Ive got the windows open and curtains drawn, but its still too much for my Seattle blood.
I bought an amazing dress today, along with three old typeface blocks. One says "CITY COUNCILMAN" with an x'ed box, another says "KEEP HAYWARD FIRST! VOTE" and the third is the most amazing and most expensive, ringing in at $2. Its in cursive and starts out with "CERTIFICATE OF HONOR" and proceeds to say that this person, on this and this date, and such school is awarded with such and such. Its pretty amazing.
The dress is what my roommate likes to call ethnic. I will take pictures tonight while Im out for the Oakland Art Murmur.
I emailed M.Roth today regarding some important issues, but he hasnt gotten back to me yet. Ill give him some slack since it is Friday, but he better get back to me next week. Not to mention address the lack of an All-College announcement.
Not a whole lot else going on in the world. Went for a bike ride with someone on Wednesday night and he totally kicked my ass. I thought it was going to be pretty flat with on gradual hill, but 10 minutes into it on Tunnel road I realized that the whole fucking thing was a gradual hill. We pretty much ended up at the top of what I think is Grizzly Peak... or just the top of the Caldecott Tunnel. Who the hell knows, I just know that I was dying and probably wasnt too attractive at the time. Which was my main objective for the night, I must say.
