I have a very hard time understanding why I am so hard to employ. I mean, geez, I'm reasonably intelligent, polite, and probably more conscientious than average. And I want a job where you work really hard for terrible pay. WHY DOES ANYBODY ELSE WANT SUCH A JOB ANYWAY?

I know. Strangely, supply outstrips demand by a pretty big margin. Wait--what type of work are you looking for, anyway?

Well, I'm not actually on the market at present, because I'm behind on my dissertation, but eventually I'm hoping for a low-profile job as a philosophy professor. ;o9
