Definitely a lot less money, but it's more than I was making sitting around the house doing nothing. They told me when I interviewed for this particular position that they had 150 applicants, and they had narrowed it down to the top 5. So...to be picked does make me feel sorta special...but not as special as if it paid more.
I need to cut out $5,000 worth of bills a year to equate to what I was making. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to do that??
I guess potentially since Leslie doesn't have a car payment, we could have her "take over" mine...that would make up for it. Or...she could start paying some bills, or all the bills, like I've done since we moved into the house.
I hope it doesn't sound like I'm complaining, because I'm not...not really. Wrecking her car was one of the best things that could happen to her financially. She has been able to catch up on some of her debt, and hopefully she will be ABLE to pay all of the household bills that I am currently not able to. It's all give-and-take.
We had an amazing Labor Day weekend, with her taking me on a surprise date, but I'm too tired to blog all about it. We went to Mahogany's, though. It was awesome.
