Has anyone read Quentins by Maeve Binchy? I don't like the book and I'm in the last 100 pages and I don't feel like finishing it, but I want to know how it ends. Can someone volunteer to email me the ending so I can stop reading this boring book and move onto the Tom Arnold book I bought? I would greatly appreciate it. I'm itching to read something

No shit, really? I have like ten pages till I'm finished. Not sure how it compares to the Tom Arnold book. I hit a slow point as well around that section of the book, but once I was at page 175 or so, I was hooked. Have you read her other books? I can email me you what happens when I am completely finished.

Well is it worth reading till the end? If it is, then maybe I should go through another week of torture. Right now its killing me.

I read Tara Road and I fell in love with it. Cried at the end and everything.

I heard the Tom Arnold book was absolutly hylarious, so I want to read it. Its called, "How I lost 6 pounds in 5 years" or something like that.

This book is nothing like Tara Road. This is my third Binchy book and the other (Evening Class) was not as good as Tara Road either.

Quentins ends with all the good guys winning. Nothing to cry over in the book at all. I can email details if you want, but it sounds as though Quentins can be placed on the back burner until the Tom Arnold book is done. Really. (-:

I think Quentins is going to be on the back burner permanently. hehe. I read the last page. I have an idea of how it ends. Ella falls in love with Derry. Big whoop. hehehe

Ayup. I just picture both Don and Derry as middle aged, overweight, balding men (a.k.a UGLY!) The only attraction I see is Ella to their money...
