welcome back kotter

Not much has happened here in Rioland. Graduation has come and gone, the buildings have emptied out and only a select few try to stick it out through the summer at Rio. I'm still here though, at least. Again. I'm getting an apartment with a couple girls and staying until December, when I make my move to Athens county and the glory that is Nelsonville. I've still got to get all my stuff together financially for Hocking, though I am waiting to hear back on financial aid- so maybe it's more of their fault right now.

I created a new blog, only I'm not really advertising it. I felt that I just needed a place to let my feelings out about anything in a totally anonymous fashion, so for once I'm using pseudonyms and the like to get thoughts out of my head. It makes me realize how much of my life I've put on the internet, and how only within the past couple years I've tried to keep some of it under wraps. So, we shall see how long this one lasts. I've spent the past couple weeks on it, because the love life has been rather emotional and it's been good to simply rant without sounding annoying and whiny. I'd rather tick off anonymous people who might come across it than people who I have some sort of normal contact.

Some new updates though -
-new phone, my old one died Wednesday night so I broke down and got a new Orange and Black (BENGALS COLORS!!!) samsung from ATT (it's the one they've been featuring on their current tv ads, the phones that pop out of flowers). It's pretty awesome so I'm excited.
--speaking of new phone, I got myself a shot at a job at the ATT store because the lady helping me thought I was hilarious and very personable, and asked me if I was interested in working there...so cross my fingers I guess.

-interviewed for a summer camp position (three week one held at Rio and Shawnee State) for juniors and seniors taking college classes. It pays 350 a week, and sounds really interesting, and the interview went well so I'm hoping that when Monday rolls around they say I got a position.

-and at last I am hoping for a spot at the Lyne Center (our gym/fitness center/etc) because it's walking distance which means no gas will be burnt in the pursuit of money. Not sure about this one, but who knows.

that's about it. oh, and i miss a certain canadian. not sure how that will work over the summer, but whatev i suppose.

end of term, summer
