Thing-a-day

I've also decided to do a modified Thing A Day plan, where working on things counts, not just finished objects.

The first was dressing the table loom for a new weaving project.

The second was balling a skein of yarn and starting a new meeting fidget, which is a very, very sparkly cowl in 1x1 ribbing.

Yesterday I noodled around with the cowl, but gave myself the day off for my birthday.

Today, however, I made up for it by both redoing Sefa's mitten thumb and making a tablecloth by hemming some linen I have on hand.

(It turns out we use a lot less upholstery weight linen than I expected when I bought the bolt, so I'm pleased that this application seems to work. I may end up chanelling my grandma at some point and embroidering one.)

BTW, for Liaden fans, I just sent Idonea off with _Partners in Necessity_ so I have high hopes for a new convert soon. Spreading the addiction is always good. Muahhaha.
