Thanksgiving was pleasant. Two family holidays per day seems to be okay. Three is a bit much muchness, but this year there were only two so it was good. And while I think that the 19 and 20 yo siblings getting puppies is not a wise plan (and so wouldn't have flown in our house, as my parents would have immediately recognized that this would either make getting us out of the house much harder or mean they were aquiring two new dogs), the puppies were terribly cute. And watching Lee lint-rollering his puppy was very funny.
I am about to head to Denver, and will be there through Friday. Unfortunately, this means that I will miss Folk Moot, but Ilya is at very loose ends this week, so I would expect that he's likely to make it. I am annoyed about missing the rapier tourney, though. Hmph.
On the plus side, it's supposed to be notably warmer in Denver than it is here and we're just across the street from the Denver Performing Arts Center. Depending on how overwhelming the work meetings are, I may try to catch a show or see if I can make it to one of Caerthe's meetings, should somebody be willing to transport a visiting Baroness.
Back to obsessing over whether or not I've got everything I need packed or saved or otherwise prepared...
