provincetown was lovely. i had probably one of the best days of my life. we met at the station at 8.00 and took the bus, getting there at about 10.30. we walked around looking for a cafe i went to last time i was there, but we couldn't find it, so i don't think it's there anymore.

we got lunch at bubbla's, which was wonderful, and then shopped around for a bit. there were some really cute stores, including one that was just a really neat costume shop in a woman's basement. too bad we were pretty much broke. so we got ice cream and smoothies instead, and then headed to the beach for a bit.

we had to run for the bus, but we made it, and got home about 6.30 on the 5.00 bus. it was such a good day. afterwords, i kept thinking he was still with me, and ended up talking to myself a whole bunch. but what else is new, eh?

and then the next day was our actual anniversary and dave's birthday. it didn't turn out to be quite as wonderful as the previous day, however. but i did make him shortbread, which he loved, quite to my satisfaction. :D

and then we tried snickerdoodles for the first time. absolutely spectacular! and rehearsals are getting more and more intense, and next week they're all till 11 leading up to opening night next friday. i hope they go easy on the homework until then.

which reminds me; school started yesterday, and it's going well so far, which is good. i think i've gotten off on the right foot with my teachers.

mr byrnes is very nice but softspoken. miss richard has turned out to be wicked nice, and she loves our small chorus class. birchfield is a bit boring, but he's nice, and very lenient. bates seems nice, though im sure ap european history will be a challenge. smeltz is spectacular as always. and frankel's class is going to be my favourite, i can tell. we spent the whole first day talking about star wars and lord of the rings. sessler seems nice, and organized, and like she's really going to prep us well for the mcas.

and life is good. and rocky horror opens a week from tomorrow, and you'd better all be there cheering me on!

love
mac.
