Tornadoes are worse. They pack more wind power and are often without warning. Hurricane you about days in advance. Most structures in the island nowadays are made of concrete. Most destruction is cause by cars on the street of people that didn't secure them, people that insist in living near water streams, and flooding.

You were the first thing I thought of when I heard about it on the news this morning!!
Y'all are MUCH braver than me - I don't think I could survive ONE hurricane, let alone an entire SEASON of them!
But, that's why I'm in the Midwest! :)
