While Montana doesn’t have the intense color of the midwest, it does have thoroughly lovely fall weather. I took that photo early yesterday morning after a work breakfast out of town.
I hadn’t realized how much I missed fall, but living in the mountains meant less ‘fall’ and more ‘two cool days before winter.’ This fall has been chock full of harvest, leaves and walks outside wearing a sweater. I’m doing what I can to gather a load of sense memories before winter arrives.
Also, I have a perfectly legitimate non-Halloween excuse for wearing a pirate costume tonight. Best. October. Ever.
