19 days until my bday!
so i booked my flight for spring break. i'm going to Kansas for 5 days (well, 4 really) to visit chris. i was going to try to make it easy and just drive down there. I've made the drive before so i know i can do it...but this time i would have been going alone and my parents and chris were all no! single girl on the highway = murder by a crazy truck driver for sure! hence the last minute booking of a flight. and i figured coming back half way thru break will give me a chance to study for psychpharmacology exam 2 and i can start on the honors project for adolescent lit. (yay...the second half of break is going to suck) i'll have to meet a bunch of chris's friends...and i hope they like me. big groups of new people scare me...i usually plan to be drinking when i get into a situation like that.
plus, this trip will distract me from the fact that i have not heard back from grad schools yet and will probably be facing my unavoidable fate of living in a trailer park and popping out 10 kids while drinking 40s and chain smoking. gooo
also, i got to spend some quality time with the bro yesterday. i drag him out shopping with me every now and then because he gives sometimes overly harsh opinions of clothes i want. it keeps me grounded. except there was a little sweatshirt we actually agreed on. see, at first i grabbed what i *thought* was the tag which said it was on sale for like $10-$15...and even then i was trying on the sweatshirt like well...i dont know...maybe...then i realized the real price was like $50. i guess at the time i thought it was really funny cause like i thought $15 was too much for it....but maybe its just one of those things you had to be there for. i love my brother.
well its back to papers and studying now. hollar!
