General Beckman came to see us this week, not just on a video screen, but in person. I am always worried when my supervisors come in person. It's
never good. This didn't prove me wrong.
We found out that she doesn't want Chuck to remove the Intersect. He's too valuable. Chuck isn't valuable to her, the information in his head is. She can't honestly believe we think she gives a damn about him. To her, Chuck is "the asset". He has to be, it's probably the only way she can justify dealing with this in the fashion she is. He is a thing, not a person.
The General said she was taking control of Operation Bartowski. That can't be good for any of us, least of all Chuck. I don't like how I think things are going to pan out.
