**Private**
When I was little, I was involved in almost all of my dad's con operations. It started out small enough, homeless father and daughter who needed money. Sometimes I had an "injury" other times I didn't. He was always running bigger things. As I got older, and a better actress, I got involved in the bigger, more complicated cons. Everything from getting hit by a car on my bike, to whatever false business deal he was participating in at the time. I never thought what he taught me would lead to actual, legitimate employment.
My father was arrested and put in prison by the ATF. Prison wasn't an unusual place for him to be at that point, I was used to getting by on my own. He always had a contingency plan for me, which usually amounted to money hidden somewhere.
During his interrogation, the government found out he had a daughter. As a result, I was recruited into the CIA immediately after high school. Director Graham proposed the offer to me, even though he wasn't director yet. The Agency let me go to college, then immediatly started my training as an agent.
When my training was over, I found out they had been watching my father and I for years. I guess recruiting me was a "If you can't beat 'em, join 'em." thing. Director Graham mentioned that my father had done a good job preparing me for undercover work, and I guess he did.
