It's that time again.
Sorry if I have some brain malfunctions in this post, I have been up all night!

I'm sorry you dislike your first image so much!! To me, you've captured the boys beautifully, keeping the essence of J2 while working in your own gorgeously unique style. And I LOVE the colours, esp on their cheeks and in their hair. :D

The sketches are lovely too. Omg chub!Jensen looks SOOOO hugable.

Lol, I know the feeling about being upset/insecure about a piece, no matter how much everyone else likes it. :) But seriously, this is really cool. I love the effect you've done in the top right corner, too! How did you manage that?

The background is washes of color, I kept it really wet and kept adding more colors going darker as I went. Then I took a sponge to the whole thing. And then I sprinkled some salt on, which only absorbed the upper, wet layers. And THEN I crossed hatched over it. Haha, that is actually a lot of steps now that I think about it.

Also, I was just looking at some of the other big bang art and can I just say, yours is really really lovely! And hurray for traditional medium! ♥

I ADORE the sketchy quality of these pics-- the shading! And the coloring in the finished one, it has such a lovely atmosphere and looks so warm and genuine ♥
