oh my! its late! its 8:40pm! i must sleep soon or i will be so tired tomorrow morning. yipes!
welp. today was my first day on the job. boring office crap. but the people are friendly! and i get paid 10 bucks an hour. and the strawberry shortcake they made us was SCRUMPTIOUS, in my tummy.
this weekend is karen and daddy's engagement partaaaaaaaae! lots of yummy food, that i helped pick out...and lots of time for karen to show off her beautiful ROCK. hopefully my dad will remember that he said i needed summer clothes and let me shop on saturday. if he doesnt..i will kindly remind him..haha.
slowly but surely i am beginning to be used to summer in florida. it is so so so different than last summer or any other summer. now, unlike any time before my time with my beloved lifelong friends in florida is ever so often tainted with the sadness of missing my friends from college. it will take time to literally grieve leaving them, because i am not going back, as we all know to the cough amazing cough covenant college. i mean DUH. its so strange leaving the people who have helped mold you into the person you now know you are. i didnt know who i was before i left for college. i am still searching for that person but i have a better understanding of who i am now, and those people experienced that with me. i will always have such a strong bond with my amazing mountain top friends, different than any other. i am so thankful i get to spend time with my amazing friends in florida before i go to PBA. i know that when i make more freaking cool friends at pba i can share them with my like best best best amazing friends from florida and hopefully those quirky, goofy, funlovin'mountain friends of mine can meet em too!! welp, off to read "the rescue" now before i go to bed. hopefully ebony calls me soon to tell me if star wars was worth seeing! of course he's gonna say yes it is...hes a guy, sheesh.
sadly, i will always miss a little part of that mountain bc it holds so many memories...of filling 10 people into a small volvo to go clubbing (cuz...we only had one car out of all of us and everything?), ravaging random guys and girls halls for food (violating open dorms and of course the laws against stealing), BEATING KING COLLEGE IN VOLLEYBALL....hahahahahahahahaha oh if you guys could only understand how sarcastic im being, wearing high heels and pajamas with courtney to our lovely sunday hall meetings(we only went to about 2 and the ones we went to, we wore heels for), doing wickedly awful college kid violating acts regularly just to spice things up for the homeschoolers, parading into the dining hall in spandex and high heels...more than once, basically acting like children every night bc what other entertainment did we have? peppering with kate for hours on end, bc the two of us are just such freaking good pepperers...i could go on forever. anyways, peace out homekids, its time for me to slumber.
