Being a non-Christian, there is something about the ceremony of Catholic church that is very - I don't know, comforting? - to me. Obviously the whole saint thing and the praying to people who are not God business is a little murky for me, but the pomp, the circumstance, I love it.
I hope you find what's right for you. It seems like your beliefs are in line with one another, which is pretty important. Growing up with parents of different religions was a good experience for making me who I am, but sometimes I think it would have been nice to have a family that attended religious services as one. (That isn't to say that's not possible for a mixed-religion family. Just that mine sucks at communication and that kind of thing and never really stepped up to that plate.)
The fact is, most of us have something missing from our lives. A lot of the people who would roll their eyes at you looking to faith for it are the sorts who look to another person to fix what's wrong with them. I say, how is looking toward God - or the higher power of your choosing - lamer than looking toward a fellow human?
(I took that test. Apparently I'm a 100% match for ... Reform Judaism. lol.)
