Smart Chicks!
So! Currently I am packing to go to the Americas on tour! Here's the Smart Chicks information again.

We just got word on some store policies to check out here.
The policies for the stores I'll be at:
Blue Willow's store policy: you have to buy a book to join the signing line.
Lemuria Books: for every one book you buy from Lemuria, you get two signed.
I'm not aware of a particular policy in Arizona, but for an event, always a good rule of thumb to buy a book there! Events are expensive for stores (staying open, setting up, paying staff overtime) so if people bring books from home and don't buy any, they make a loss and there are no more events! And in the case of the Smart Chicks, we have six or seven authors at each stop, some with many a novel, so finding a book you might like (and which will be in paperback, so not too costly) won't be too hard.
Also, look at this cool thing! You can print out Smart Chicks posters we will all sign! I like looking at the posters all blown up so I can see my Nick next to Cassandra Clare's Clockwork Angel cover, because the Clockwork Angel cover is like heaven with cake on the side.
Events! I just had a lovely one with Celine Kiernan, in which we ruthlessly spoiled our books for everyone, and I am excited for these upcoming events. (Hell, I am excited to meet Kelley Armstrong: I love her books like I love raspberry meringue - a lot.) Hope to see some of you there, and I am sure we'll have fun!
