a day without immigrants
Ok, so right now I am trying to get streaming ABC shows on my computer, but this building is still on dial-up. Hopeless. Sort of like the suicidal book on tape. I seem to be a patron of hopeless entertainment causes.
The news is suggesting that I buy a scooter to save on gas costs. Meanwhile, the government refuses to impose a windfall tax on the oil companies, whose profits seem to have skyrocketed in the past couple of months. No comment, just sayin'.
Today I had a really good conversation with my pastor. I don't think that's ever happened, that I've had a good conversation with a pastor where I felt like I could be totally honest and just be myself. No final membership statement has been made, but I have new ideas and input to consider. Don't worry, Meg, I'm taking it seriously.
Tomorrow I am going to the RED SOX GAME!!! I hope it doesn't rain. Please don't rain. I'll cry if it gets rained out.
