Man, this one is really random...

Today I went sailing! And just like every other time I've been sailing, I steered the boat right into the "eye of the wind" or "irons" or whatever it is where the boat goes nowhere. :) I think I'm a natural.

"every footstep falls on holy ground"...

This weekend, Julz and I are going to Acquire the Fire. We've never been to a non-ABY youth conference, and perspective is a good thing. Not to mention, Brad Duncan, the MOST AMAZING YOUTH SPEAKER EVER, got us free passes.

"every house a church where hope is found"...

I worked at the Bean tonight... I really appreciate its sense of community and the feeling that life is to be enjoyed. I'm going to miss the Bean when I move. I wonder if there's an awesome Christian coffeehouse in Maine?

"every bush is burning"...

I wonder a lot of things about Maine.

"every day a chance to make it right"...

Graduation is exactly one month from today. Well, from the 14th, and I haven't been to bed for that day yet. Five years later, yes, I will have a degree... In recreation. That's a real degree. But you know what? Something got accomplished in the past five years. If only I didn't have to attend a lame ceremony at 9:30 in the morning to tell me that.

"every kiss the kiss that breaks the spell"...

Walking home tonight, it felt like life was so big and there was no way to contain it... And I wonder what Jesus meant by life and life abundantly, because he wasn't a proponent of life on easy street. Right now everything seems so immediate and so gritty, and I know the world will go on whether or not I choose to engage and invest in it. But I'm tired of hiding out.

"every wound that bleeds, every aching need"...

Ok, there's no point to this LJ except a little free-flow rambling. Should have put that at the beginning. Oops. I can make it the title.

"every lie believed, every truth received"...

Speaking of immediate, I just realized that I have an essay test in my 8am tomorrow. Gotta go!
