Video Games and Real Life

Ok, I now admit that I understand the fascination with Kingdom Hearts. It is pretty rad. So rad, in fact, that the only other thing I got done at Ariel's house this evening was my laundry.
I won't discount the importance of clean clothes. It will help me make friends if I do not wear smelly dirty clothes.
Speaking of getting nothing accomplished, let's talk about these 9pm-11pm rehearsals. Actually, let's just clarify that I am stage managing In A Word and move on.
Moving on...
I had all these thoughts, but I can't seem to get them down on paper. (On screen. Whatever.)
This weekend was very HDR with multiple people... Usually HDR is hard enough for me with one person, let alone two in 24 hours. I feel sort of shaken up. Especially as I realize that God has me here now, but He might have me way elsewhere in six months... And then what happens to all that "real-ness" that got put out there with these Kansas-dwellers? (Hudson says "Kansanians".)
Interesting that the Jamboree theme for this upcoming weekend is 24/7 - Keeping It Real. Or maybe I should say that it should be interesting to lead small groups on that topic. :)
I am reminded that Jesus knew of His limited time on earth, but He didn't use it as an excuse to not be utterly authentic with those around Him...
Oh, Sabine and I are going backpacking over spring break. It's official. Smoky Mountains, here we come, cuz we have plane tickets. I'm pretty pumped about this, assuming I don't freeze to death. Whim has even loaned us her brand-new tent so we won't have to share shelters with anyone sketchy. Now if only my guidebook would get here...
