It's been another year? Time rockets forward. With my girl *really* really moving in with me, I am looking forward to making a home with her. Big sigh.
My life has changed so much from the life that I lived a year ago... without changing that much at all. I've passed my qualifying exam, said goodbye to my Joanie, and got rid of some baggage that's been dragging me for a long, long time. And I'm still here, still chugging and still moving along my path.
It's been a hard year.
"But there's reason to believe maybe this year will be better than the last...." as Counting Crows once sang.
Here's wishing everybody a better year this year!
We're going to start the year off right with food and fun with Jay and Mat.. Apples to apples, or Trivial Pursuit? Who knows, but the champagne's chilling and we're going to get dressed now...
...and wonder where I'll be this time next year. Writing my thesis? who knows?
