Just wanted to let people now that my computer's hard drive has officially fried on me, with little hope of being able to salvage any data. I won't be able to update or chat for a while, maybe more then a few weeks.

That sucks.

I've done a hard drive replacement on a laptop before, while not impossible, was more hassle than on a desktop.

Hopefully it was at least still under warranty.
