Almost as bad as Twilight

Some white woman decides she's going to Bali (either to prove she's a deep person who enjoys being around poor, non-white people, or to shove her upper-middle class status in the face of said poor people). While there, she decides to eat carbs (either to prove she's a daring, risk-taking rebel (for a stereotypical white woman), or to shove her ability to afford carbs in the face of the locals). Then, she meditates (i.e., sits around doing nothing while the people of Bali work, likely while having her paid vacation shoved in their faces).

Wikipedia tells me the white woman is being played by Julia Roberts.

All I want to know is, when was it decided that all movies should suck? Seriously, I don't think I've heard of any mainstream movies that I'd actually like to see, or pay to see, in years.
