How do I buy Tekmira shares? Anyone know?!

They're researchers for Ebola vaccines and things... I want to buy a few shares.

You'll need a share-dealing account - find a decent online share-dealing site, or see if your current bank does one.

(I use http://www.bankofscotland.co.uk/sharedealing/ )

You then need to register with them - usually involving various forms of ID. This took a few days for me.

And then you can actually buy any shares they support.

(Alternatively, find a friend who already trades in shares and get them to do it for you.)

There will be a share-trade fee too - £11.95 per trade for BoS.

(Oh, and check they have Tekmira as a share they trade - my one does, but not all companies deal with all overseas shares).
