I fretted all the way through this about Americanisms, and I think this may be one of them, because it sounds fine to me, but I know it must be wrong in England. And I'm not sure if I can articulate the idea so you can tell me the right phrasing.
I was trying to indicate that Sarah was teaching what would here be grades K (kindergarten) through 5, kids ages 5-11, so that she'd be teaching Amy at whatever age she was in the last episode (7 or 8, I think).
