Heading out...

First Waterloo, then the world! (or, Europe in particular)

I'm just finished packing my suitcase. I impressed myself that I am only using the smallest size (carry-on) luggage possible with wheels + one backpack that will serve as a communal daypack and hold entertainment while on the flight. Not looking forward to the wash your own clothes part of the trip, but I guess it must be done. My sister got me a spiffy clothes line to bring with me as a graduation present, which will make it into the suitcase if I have room. It does not require clips because it's so twisty.. apparently it was a hit with one of her friends that went to Europe. She also gave me a whistle with a compass and thermometer that she insists that I need to bring.

The iternary is pretty much worked out.. the last few days it has really been coming together with final decisions and bookings. I will leave you all in suspense for a later announcement. It will be a 7 (with the possiblity of +1) country tour. I'm very excited :)

Before all this happens, I will be journeying to Waterloo with my family for my convocation. In all the Europe planning I don't even know what I'll wear for it, we'll see. There will also be a second convocation, a wedding and more time in Niagara before I depart next Tuesday (hopefully relaxing but if the last few days are any indiction jammed pack with last minute planning)

Got the award that I had been pushing hard for the last few weeks today... go me!! I'm very pleased with my progress.

Back to packing..
