At my parents' house, the computer is in the family room, and the desk is situated right behind the couch. My mom has two little dogs that think they own the place (and they do, really), so they jump all up on the couch like psychos and sit on the very back of it if anybody's working on the computer.
Evidently, their new favorite pasttime -- especially the girl dog's -- is sitting in her little spot and straight up raping the face of whoever might be sitting there with her tongue. That's right. I've just gotten a puppybath. I don't know if it's cute or the sickest thing I've ever seen. At least the dogs are adorable.
In other news, I'm supposed to be writing my reflection for Severe and Profound Workshop, but I think it's pretty shitty that, because of the way my program works, I get to do homework after the semester is over -- and they don't see a problem with it at all. So after about twenty minutes of staring at a blank screen and checking my email about twenty-nine times, I quit. My dad has turned vigilante about the way he thinks I'm being screwed right now in this program, and has threatened no less than seven times in the two and a half hours that I've been home to call the dean and "work things out." And grades aren't even posted yet. This is strange, however, because usually my dad could hardly give a damn. My parents are interesting people. And by interesting, I mean the greatest people I know.
I have hardly slept in two days. They say that this is what college is about (beer and bonfires, what else?) but I believe that break is about making all that sleep up. I think it's time for a nap on the back porch.
