Week full of stressful emergencies, euthanasia, and death.
There is a 10 year old diabetic kitty whose owner is dying in the hospital.
Sometimes you just fall in love with a sweet, friendly kitty who has never done anything wrong. And you know that you might be the only one to keep him from being euthanized at Animal Care and Control. And you go over all the options. And a 10 year old diabetic is not a good adoption candidate.
I hope he lives.
I hope someone takes care of him.
I can't save them all.
And I cry every time.
