The Next Chapter Has Begun...
So I'm officially moved in to my new place in Castro Valley! All my boxes that are meant to be unpacked are as such. Everything is set up to my liking so far.There are a few things I still need to get and soon I'll go to the store and pick those things up (unless someone wants to get me a house-warming gift... I'm registered at Crate and Barrel [not really]). The place is a really good size for me. It's small, but it's enough room for me and I'm happy with it. The best part is that I don't have to share the kitchen and the bathroom and my laundry is free! Plus, it costs me just as much as if I would be staying in the new apartments on campus... which I would've had to share with 3 other people! So wee!
In other news, it's my grandfather's 80th birthday today. He's in a old person hospital/home thing near Redding, CA. He's had two strokes and is on a lot of medication. But he's alive and he turned 80 today. SO that's cool/depressing.
Also, I am to start my job hunt tomorrow/Tuesday. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know or something. They just put in a Peet's by Safeway in CV, so I'm probably gonna apply there. Might also go for the Lighthouse Christian Bookstore in Dublin, but I don't really want to drive there every day that I work. :P So yeah, let me know if you know of something I could do. :)
Everyone needs to come visit me and stuff. I've seen a couple people so far and I have to say that it's good to be back and to see everyone and stuff. Jonathan just said today, "You belong in the Bay Area." I said, "Why?" "Because you're here." he responded. Drew agreed. So, thanks guys. I hope that God does amazing things through me starting now and shows me the kinds of things for which he needs me to be here.
