Big times in the Life of Sarah...

I had my Ragtime audition today, I think it went well. My song sounded better than it ever has before, at least in my head it did. And I danced my ass off. I was the only person to wear a skirt in my "group" that auditioned, and I think I stood out, hopefully in a good way. (And my skirt was long and flowy, and I had lots of stuff on under it, and get your mind out of the gutter!)

And now all I can do is sit and wait until Friday, when I'll find out if I made it. What's funny though, is I've wanted a certain part in this show ever since I found out about it. And now that I’ve auditioned, I think being on the chorus would be so much fun. Or even another not as grand part I remembered existed.

Oh, I'm hopeful. And that's not a good thing in this business, for hopes are dashed easy as the sun rises here.

On a different note, less than 24 hours until my birthday! Where I will be the scandalous seventeen. (I needed a word that started with "S" and sweet was already taken.) I'm excited, MomDude's taking me to lunch at Olive Garden, a new tradition in the Wrenn House. And then on to Houston Friday night. Oh, what a week I'm in for.

So I'm in a good mood right now, here's hoping it has reason to last awhile.
