Dude..... dubble digets- the second round

i must say that this past birthday was one of the best that i have had in a few years. first of all- my sister and her bf came from mich. for the weekend, and it was grand to get to show her what my school looks like. also- david came to see me for my birthday and it was soooooo freaking amazing to get to see him again- it has beeing to freaking long!!!! any way- moving on..... soooo my birthday was on a friday, so i took the morning off so i could chill out late with david, and get to sleep in- and sleep is always a good thing. then i went to work at the mark twain study and then after work i was just starting to give david the grand tore around EC when my sister and her bf showed up. it was good to see her again- she and i live so fare apart now- i sometimes miss how close we were when we were kids... anyway- so she shows up, and then we go over to Leia and ambers place and i got to give people their un-birthday gifts (that is a family tradition where the birthday person gives gifts to the people selabrating the day with her so everyone feels speashal and happy..... and i just like getting stuff for other people). then Leia and Amber gave me a really cool gift of two shirts from old nave, and my sister gave my like 8 dvds that she had copys of, and i got david's gift a few days latter and he got me these really spiffy headphones, soooo yay to all of that. anyway- moving on, after hanging out at Leia's for a bit we headed over to Chilles for dinner (yay real food!) and that was really good. then after a number of stops on the way back to campus that took up a lot of time but had to be done, we went back over to Leia's and i was in for a really amazing treat- Amber had made me a birthday cake. it was- it was one of the most amazing gifts i could have gotten- it has been a really really long time sence anyone did something like that for my birthday. i think the last time i had a "cake"- it was a sugar free apple pie from the store with one candle stiking out of it. i really can't even express how much that ment to me. soooo after cake, my sister and her bf went to go crash and sleep and the reast of us went out to Chill. sadly it was on the dead side there- but it was still a lot of fun, i was sad to see that night ome to and end. on sat. david had to leave early in the day to get back to new canaan, and i had to switch rooms (that was a pain in the but, let me just say). but after a lot of work we got it done. over all im happy to have done it then, rather than the day befor classes started- i hated having to do that last year. then on sunday my sister her bf and i went out to Ithica for the day and just lounged about. we went into some of the shops and had fun looking about. latter that night they had to be one their way and i had to be ready to get back to work in the morning.
like i said- it was a really go birthday weekend.
now i'm just riding out the last like 2 weeks of the summer- trying to have as much fun and time to relax as i can get (i know i'm really going to miss it when school starts back up again....... though i will be happy to not have to worry about fialing papers anymore- i really don't like having to do that for hours on end......
it was rather funny to me the other day- i was riding my bike, trying to get stuff done cause it looked like it might rain again- so i get all my things done and i'm back at Perry thinking- do i want to go in, or do i want to ride some more? and you know those moments when you get a feeling that you should just leave well enough alone and call it a day- and then you egnor that feeling? well that is what i did- yah- i should have just called it a day. for anyone who has never tried to ride a bike on a side walk in Elmira- i'll tell you, your kind of taking your life in your own hands. most of the sidewalks are so freaking bad it looks like a earthquake just went through. well i was riding, got my front tire snaged in a large crack and went down. the part of this that is funny to me is the fact that 1) it was enevedable that i would go down at one point or another, and i knew i should have called it a day and 2) when i was telling my mom about it latter, she broke out laughing for like 10 min. at first i was just like...ooook.... but then i found out she thought i had said that i had fallen out of my bed. that mix up did make me laugh- cause if i had fallen out of my bed- that is up on sinderblocks- i really don't think i would just be walking away.....
well- yah- i guess that is just about it from me....
