OOC: Character notes
The latest prompt may need a little explanation.
With the reboot of relativespace, I've decided to slightly rewrite Laura's history in two ways. First, I'm dropping the AU history in which she met the Doctor as a teenager when her Aunt went to work for UNIT instead of Liz Shaw. It was interesting to write about for a little while, but I think I've done all I can with it, so from here on out, her point of AUness is where she was dropped off on Caprica instead of in Aberdeen.
The second change is in her future, which is now her present. The CIA (Gallifrey version) fakes her death and brings her to Gallifrey because they need the expertise she gained in the war with the Cylons during the Time War (and they had arranged her presence there in the first place). So she's been working with Eight and President Romana fighting in the Time War and as the war rages, her timeline has become incredibly muddled. Laura's timeline is still dominant, but she's starting to get hints of other lives she might have lived/did live.
When relativespace reboots, this is the point she'll be entering from, having some faint deja vu, but otherwise starting fresh.
